An important birthday today! Happy 28th to Slayer, here's hoping he regains his site and ability to post more in the near future.

Regain my what?

 

Actually, if anything I need a vacation from this place (which I'll be getting at the end of the month). I haven't been reading the board much less than normal, but I just haven't been inspired to post much about anything

Since Spiff snuck in that one while I was (slowly) working on the previous post, let me get in a pre-emptive bday wish for him in case I'm not around next week.

 

Not only do we share close bdays (and hence are both Taureses), but we also share similar humor and I think we also have the same name too

I picture Venkman setting his alarm clock so he can wake up every morning and scurry to TSM to see who's birthday it is. Now he will ignore my birthday when it comes around.

 

Actually, I toyed around with changing my birthday every day to the current day so I would constantly be listed for my birthday. I don't think it works for some reason. I can't remember.

The Reds have generally done well on my bdays as far as I can remember... too bad they can't keep that up all season

 

Now that I've seen how old you are, the constant John Stockton references make more sense.

Maybe if I made more David Robinson references instead

Now, not to monopolize the "All Purpose Birthday Thread" (which I don't care for, btw... I preferred the "to each his own thread" method), but I decided to check out the "Who Shares My BDay List" out of curiousity.

 

I've known for a while that I shared my birthday with Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Johnny Unitas, Gary Cooper, Owen Hart and Traci Lords (which strangely coincide with my interests in classical music, football, classical westerns, pro wrestling and underage pornography) but a search of Wikipedia reveals I also share it with Alex Smith, Shawn Marion, Hercules Hernandez, Tim Russert, Evita and Tito (the former Yugoslav leader, not the wrestler)

Only 3 years old? Hard to believe.

 

Another banner "people I've actually heard of" birthday as The Original Tealy Dan, Mr. Slim Citrus, turns another year older as does beloved current events poster EricMM.

I was going to shave my chest hair to show a moon and a star in honor of your birthday KKC, but I figured that'd be bad for everyone involved.

Thanks a lot guys. Tonight I'm going to celebrate in style by going down to Boston to see The Red Sox game and go to the Popeye's Chicken across the street.

 

Clearly I am a man that knows how to party down.
