USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Miami Dolphins never won a Super Bowl under the guidance of Dan Marino due to many years with a subpar running game. I won't make that mistake with Marino on my team. John Riggins, RB Yeah we all know who he is, so I'm not going to type his shit out, but those who wants to double check on him, http://www.profootballhof.com/hof/member.jsp?player_id=

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Yeah, could we get the front page updated? It was a little annoying trying to figure out who was taken by going backwards through the thread. Thanks.[/Drury]
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 So is it Bored's chance to pick now and USC can change it whenever he gets back or what? The rules don't mention this situation.

Bored 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Don't have time for a write up but didn't want to keep people waiting so here's my pick. Randy Moss, Wide Receiver
Canadian Brandon 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Damn. Moss was my next pick. Oh well...my next choice of WR is a man who played alongside Moss. He has the greatest hands of anyone to ever play the game. A sure hall of famer. WR Cris Carter * 8x Pro Bowl selection (1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) * 3x All-Pro selection (1994, 1995, 1999) * NFL 1990s All-Decade Team * Minnesota Vikings #80 Retired * Led NFL in receptions in 1994 with 122 * Led NFL in receiving TD's in 1995, 1997, and 1999
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 I don't believe it, but the guy I want is still here and I will take him without hesitation since I had him in the top ten on my board. One of the most influential defensive tackles ever and a someone who can take the bulk of attention from an offensive line and still steamroll them. With the 38th overall selection, I take Mr. Cowboy... Bob Lilly Career Highlights and Awards * Pro Bowl (x11) (1962, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973) * NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team * NFL 1970s All-Decade Team * NFL 1960s All-Decade Team * Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor
Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 With my 2nd pick, I select: Gino Marchetti/DE/Baltimore Colts 9 time All-Pro Voted Greatest DE in NFL History a 50 yr. anniversary (1974) I think Marchetti is the 2nd greatest DE behind the Good Deacon. He was a great pass rusher and freakishly durable for the position and era he played in.

Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Man, there's still so many great offensive players out there, I love it. Amen! I am going to be stealing somebody in the next round. Had to change my draft strategy because I thought there is no way he'd be available at #42.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2008 Having the 17th pick makes the swing really tough. Stuck now trying to decide should I balance with 1 O/1 D pick or go 2 O... coupled with the fact that I can't tell when any player is going to go (I expected Steve Young to go before my 17th pick). Gert T 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 With my 3rd round pick I select: Actor: Glove Model: Ford Bronco Coneisseur: Author: O.J. Simpson/RB I thought OJ was/is the 2nd greatest RB of all-time. His numbers are impressive since they mostly occured in 14 game seasons. Even though he has become a joke now, he was one of the most dominant men ever to play the game, and way too good to pass up. snuffbox 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 I don't think he's in the top-3, but I can't possibly argue with the rest. A pretty good (and interesting) pick.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 I wasn't planning on going in this direction, but there is one true stud QB left in my estimation and I really can't afford to pass him up. He was the first true mobile quarterback and was a pioneer that paved the way for an entire generation of quarterbacks to come. He was a very different player than Dan Marino, but the end results were very similar. QB Fran Tarkenton Career Stats TD-INT 342-266 Yards 47,003 QB Rating 80.4 * 9x Pro Bowl selection (1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1975, 1976) * 6x All-Pro selection (1970, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976) * 1975 NFL MVP * 1975 NFL Offensive Player of the Year * 1975 UPI NFC Player of the Year * 1975 Bert Bell Award * 1964 Pro Bowl MVP * Minnesota Vikings #10 Retired Records * Vikings Career Passing Yards Leader with 33,098 * Vikings Career Passing Touchdowns Leader with
