Anyway, I wussed out on the space-eating tackle, basically because I realized that these teams needed beast tackles who excelled at both pass-rushing and run-defense. After all, this is an all-time draft. Here's one... Defensive Tackle, Ray Childress. 6'6", 272 lbs 5 Pro Bowls ('88, '90, '91, '92 and '93) 6 All Pro Selections ('88 - '93) Career (1985-96)- 76.5 sacks, 13 sacks in '92, single-season record by a DT. As adept at end as he was at tackle (drafted 3rd overall in '85 draft as a DE), who Pro-Bowled at both positions, so I'm putting up a fierce 4-3 and 3-4 defense in the same drive. The anchor of a retooled Oiler defense that finished in the top 10 in both pass and rush defense for four consecutive years. Another dirt-tough player; missed only 3 games in his career. G-Bruce Bosley According to what I've read about this guy, he was a big strong hillbilly that played college ball at West Virginia. No dummy, though. Graduated with a degree as a chemical engineer. What that meant in West Virginia in the 1950s is anyone's guess. Big fucker for back then, too. 6'2" 240 and built. Bosley was drafted as a DE by the Niners in '56, moved to LG, went to his first pro bowl in 1960, moved to C a little while later, and went on a tear for three straight pro bowls starting in 65.
