LucharesuFan619 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 What are the odds that you could get in trouble (legal) for making a single prank call to a business i.e. a McDonalds (and not calling them back if they hang up)? Also, is it true that dialing *67 and then the number makes it so that people can't tell what number you're calling from? Also, is it free to use *67 (if you have a plan for free calling after certain hours and you use *67 after those hours)? Or does it cost a certain amount per minute or something to use *67 after those hours? Thanks.
Richard Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Just call from a pay phone, if you can still find one.
LucharesuFan619 Posted June 2, 2008 Author Report Posted June 2, 2008 That would cost a lot to make lots of calls. Nor can you put a pay phone on speaker (what's a prank phone call in this day and age that's not being recorded?). I have a masterful soundboard I made that I want to put into action.
Twisted Intestine Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 You won't get in trouble, *67 does block your number, I think there's a fee for using it but not per minute.
