thanks, it all got a little hazy there. but trips' "student of the game gimmick" would really lead him to underestimate nobody... but alas i am rambling and this is pointless. trips and stephanie are both unprofessional, and jericho is fucked as a result. is there anything i missed?

LOL!

No problem. And yes, it IS pointless, I just wanted to boost my post count some. :D

exactly, and we actually had some pretty good discussion while it was going on. it was rational, and nobody was simply trolling anti-triple h catchphrases

If HHH had to prove himself...and was going over in the end...

Wouldnt it have made more sense for Jericho to tell HHH he wasn't in Jericho's league?

Wouldnt that have added...you know...heat.

But HHH never jobs...even in interviews.

Billy: Hey, Triple H. Could you please get out of the ring so Rico can have his match?

Triple H: *grunts* You fag!! *snorts*

...I see your point.

that is so logical it scares me. and if trips had actually followed this route there would have been more heat on the fued and he would have looked better as a result. aaaaarrrrggghhh!!! its so bloody obvious now!

actually im normally a pretty logical guy too. although id never thought about this in this way. it is fun to be in this world tho isnt it?

It also would've helped Jericho if he could've laid out HHH by himself instead of needing the help of Vince, Test, Storm, Christian etc.

"Granted, it's all circumstantial evidence..."

Lots of people have been executed on the basis of circumstantial evidence, let alone judged guilty of abuse of power by "smarks." There's enough of it to point the finger of blame at Triple H.

"It can't be worse than Stephanie coming in the ring and singing for 15 minutes as the last segment of a show."

Exactly; that segment between Austin and Stephanie/Alliance was the most self-indulgent piece of crap I ever had to witness. Nepotism blows.

At least Angle came out with a milktruck after it...that's just it, he came out after the damage was done. What kind of American Hero is he?! ;)

while it was an incredibly stupid segment, that angle had some redeeming features. the little austin head which bounced over the words was absolutely awesome, i marked for that... but thats about it.

nepotism sucks... unless of course it benefits me.

thats irrelevant in the long run though, because any residual heat jericho had was stolen by steph/hhh anyway, so this is really a null discussion.

The only way Triple H trying to hold down RVD to hold down Jericho makes sence is if he wanted the title off of him before Wrestlemania so he could fight Austin and get a good buy rate. That does make sence.

sorry man, but it is impossible to take anything you say seriously when you misspell "sense" (sence), and even your fucking name is spelt wrong. jeez.

It disgusts me that I'd ever have to say this, but X-Factor Corperation, your sig is now a few months outdated. You need to add another Hogan reign to that. :(

....Those are the ways I chose to spell my "fucking name" and sence. As much as I'd "love" to get into a long discussion on spelling, this is a wrestling board and this isn't the place for it.

And oh yeah, I noticed that about my sig. I only got back to day. We never did get that line between Hogan and Booker T. though.....

I thought there would be no more threads that bashed Triple H outside of the No Holds Barred folder.

this wasnt bashing, it was discussion. if you read the entire thing, that much is obvious

It was a thread with people bashing him and other people telling the bashers to lay off.

its funny how many people just hhhate 'cos it is a cool thing to do, and dont really know the facts and just restate the opinions of other people, in order to try and get themselves over on the board. also notice how most of the people who were originally anti-triple h (ie predating the hhhater moniker) of bps, goodhelmet, myself and anglesault (well there is an exception to every rule) dont kill every thread with hhhate crap.

Dunno where you've been.. bps21 has done PLENTY of that. He basically started that shit.

and I feel sorry for anybody who thinks being in the HHHate club is a 'cool thing to do' LOL. These guys are the reason this forum is basically a laughing stock.

I was pretty happy when I heard that the Triple H bashing would be limited to the no-holds barred folder, but when one of the moderators is a Triple H basher, I guess you can throw that out the window.

HHH isn't the cause of all the problems but not putting over anyone certainly doesn't help business. He could of easily told Steph to have Jericho beat him at J-Day.

Can we start clearing the HHHate from this thread now? I think demoting Russo, no matter who did it, is the smartest move for the company's image and financial status. Sure, maybe Booker T would have finally been given the bump into the main event scene, but he'd be making the save for whatever piece of ass they attatch to him, fighting off her stalker who is a nudist and threatens to beat women with a showerhead.

...Okay, see how stupid that last sentence was? That's the kind of stories Russo creates. Be thankful we don't have to live with it.

As for KOTR, I hope to see Taker retain, as his title matches with unlikely suspects and the "you-sell-now-I-sell" game with the Hardyz are more entertaining than whatever HHH is likely to put on. Plus I've long suspected that 'Taker would be the ME guy who would be putting Lesnar over. This would be quite an accomplishment and is quite feasible as Taker has built up 10 years or so of being a force to reckon with, and putting over Lesnar at this late stage of his career is actually a good rub. The problem, of course, is that both men are currently heels, so look for Taker to somehow turn face at Vengence (possibly involving Raven?)

And finally, I don't think HHH has held anybody back seriously besides Jericho. I think he actually helped Angle quite a bit during the tail end of Kurt's rookie year. I do think there's a personal problem with Jericho somewhere there though. I wish after KOTR they'd move Jericho to Raw and put Benoit back on SmackDown. If Benoit can't bring HHH back to **** matches, nobody can. Meanwhile Jericho can feud with Flair, as the Eddy thing seems to be the writers' way to give Latino Heat something to do at the PPV.

just to tie things up. i was away for a fair bit, and i *am* aware that bps started this stuff. he was the first, and anglesault and myself were right behind him in hhhate. i left before there was an actual word for it though (ie hhhaters). and while bps was the first, i dont see him trolling this stuff in every thread, it seems mostly to be newer people who are just trying to achieve consensus with the more established posters.

and this forum is a laughing stock, and its a fucking disgrace. 50% of the threads are risk-style who needs x/should x be fired threads, while 40% more get spoiled by hhh bashing. that leaves about 10% of this forum, which is bloody awful.

The other thing people might not grasp as well is that Steph may be doing all this because she fears that she'll lose her ride at the top of programming if HHH gets demoted, since unlike her brother and father she can't wrestle with the men.

Guest Prince Paul

Good point.

If HHH does get a demoted to mid card status (HA!), then Steph would have to think of a new storyline in which she can be in a program with someone at the top of the card. Keeping HHH in the upper card, guarantees her some spotlight when she decides to return on camera.

And she will when she wants to.

She divorced HHH. She can "hook up" with whoever the champ is at the time she comes back if she wants.

If I remeber correctly, the heat between Jericho and Triple H started when Jericho was fueding with Chyna over the IC belt, and being too stiff. Though most, at the time, thought it was just Trips doing it because Nash asked him to.

Then things get weird, it seems.

Somewhere in 2000, I read taht Jericho and Triple H are friends, and that Triple H was actually helping Jericho out backstage.

Then we fast forward to now, where it seems there is heat between Jericho and Triple H again.

So there you go, a pseudo timeline of the Jericho-Triple H heat. Don't blame the game, don't blame steph, blame Chyna.

papacita gonna be pissed.

ok. Maybe bps21 doesn't do that any more, I'm not sure (I just pass over all posts by "HHHaters" without reading them) but back in the day he was as bad about it as anybody. I consider it one of the main reasons most of the good posters from the EZboard didn't stick around long after the transition.

It's funny because all of bps21's repetitive HHH rhetoric got him rewarded with moderator status. So maybe all the newcomers who are jumping on the bandwagon are just trying to troll their way to moderatorship.
