Craig Th 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2008 I think I remember reading the article at this forum, but I am not sure. Basically, a guy put his name on the do-not-call-list. He then signed up for a bunch of online websites, where he gave his phone number. The people called him, he then sued. He has done this a bunch of times and has gotten over $100,000. Can I get a link to this story? I can't seem to find it anywhere. My aunt doesn't believe me that this guy did it. Thanks in advance.
Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2008 Sounds like BS. My understanding is that if you solicit for information, they have every right to call you.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2008 I often get calls saying I've won the "free Orlando vacation" I registered for. The fuck I did! I know I didn't win shit and I am not traveling to the exact opposite side of the country to sit in on your time share pitch. I either use the opportunity to fuck with them, or I give "my" information as that of my enemies and pass the problem on to them.
