The best part of Legends of the Hidden Temple were that somehow no matter where the legend took place, the item always ended up in a temple in the jungle. Aztec Gold? Jungle temple. Something Jesse James tole? Jungle temple. And all the rooms in the temple had these ominous names...all except the shrine of the silver monkey.

I caught this and the lead in show Wipeout. Good for killing a couple hours.

I caught both this show and Wipeout. Loved Wipeout(even if it is just an American-MXC), but just about fell asleep during this one. It was so fucking slow moving. And the "wacky zany unbelievable Japanese Game Show" was basically.....double dare. Seriously. Those were some SHITTY challenges.

My gal was on an episode but according to her, her idiot teammate fell down in the moat and they didn't get out of the first round. She's still bitter about it.

I watched Wipeout on mute...but I lost interest when I saw you could fall off the obstacles, land in the water, and continue.

 

Some of the contestants were flat out bailing in the water to avoid some of those things. Sasuke has ruined me, in that water = INSTA FAIL.
