WCS 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2008 Of course my favorite thing right now is seeing the reaction to McDougle getting cut on the Eagles message board. Apparently he is going to go to the Giants (a possibility) and become a killer, since he played well against second and third stringers this preseason. That negates 5 years of injury and bustitude. It seems they should have cut Chris Clemons, his 8 sacks last year are over twice what McDougle has done in his career, and only didn't because there would have been $4mil in dead money. I guess that is a good sign, when the biggest "end of the season" proclamations are about the 53rd man on the roster. Similarly, on the Skins message board the cutting of Marcus Mason and Billy McMullen (figure Eagles fans would get a snicker at that one) spells the end of any chances for the Skins to compete for the next 5 years. Also, cutting horrible punter Derrick Frost in favor of 2007 Ray Guy Award Winner Durant Brooks is GM Vinny Cerrato's attempt to 'justify' the 'terrible' 2008 Skins draft class. Heh.
