The Tino Standard 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2008 The Jericho-HBK match is the sole reason I would be willing to pony up for a ticket on Sunday. If that doesn't qualify as the main attraction on a card, then I don't know what does.

If that doesn't qualify as the main attraction on a card, then I don't know what does. I'm going to the show Sunday, and really all I want to see is this match, and CM Punk. CBright7831 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2008 It was distributed in 1989. That said, I loved the guys WWE run. Not so much WCW but the Millennium Man shtick (and Sid chokeslamming people counting as wins in his streak) sounds pretty funny. I only caught bits and pieces of that. He also powerbombed La Parka on to a huge bag of popcorn:

Enigma 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 Whoa, I didn't remember that Goldust was in WCW at that time. Yeah, WWF released him in mid-'99 when he kept injuring his back. He went back to WCW in fall '99 shortly before Vince Russo and Ed Ferrera jumped to WCW. The Kevin Nash booking squad wanted him to do that infamous "7even" character, which Russo had him trash on the air and then just became plain ol' babyface Dustin Rhodes again. When Kevin Sullivan took over booking in early 2000, they turned him heel against Terry Funk and had him be the "American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes. Then when the Russo/Bischoff era started, he sat at home and collected a paycheck until the night after Starrcade 2000. When Vince bought WCW, he did indies until his AOL Time Warner contract was bought out in late '01. He went back to the WWF for the '02 Rumble.
JupiterMayo 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 Why's he pinning La Parka, though? Was that a falls count anywhere?
RedJed 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2008 Why's he pinning La Parka, though? Was that a falls count anywhere? That's not Goldust there with La Parka, thats Sid, and who knows what was happening there, I dont even think it was a match, just some weird backstage segment of Sid going on a rampage, if I recall. Enigma 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2008 Mark it up: Goldust just got confused with a sack of popcorn and a brown bag.
