I disagree with Spinebuster. It was his finisher, but around the time he became ME level it became a set up to his Batista Bomb, so now I think it's jsut Batista Bomb.

* Khali needs the Tree Slam as a finisher. And does he actually use the chop as a finisher anymore?

* Koslov needs the Reverse DDT

* Is Regal using the Running Knee as a finish again?

* With Haas, should he not get points for hitting whoever he's impersonating that week's finisher?

* Is the Yang Time his old WCW finisher, or the moonsault?

Posted

Last times i've seen him actually win matches, it's been with the vice grip.

Are we in agreement that the Tree Slam is also a finisher?

Kozlov's finisher seems to have changed into the headbutt now, but if you wish, i'll add it, as long as he wins a match with it sooner or later, making it a finishing move.

Haas is a cute idea, i'll go with that. Yang Time, if i'm not mistaken, is a twisting moonsault.

Maybe, but Batista won his last world title with it. He also wins TV matches with it pretty often. I'm just saying he's beat more people with it than Undertaker has with the choke slam.

He beat Cabana... sorry, 'Goldman', with it, that I know for sure. And that was only 2 weeks ago.

Yang Time was WCW finisher, which I don't think he's ever used in the WWE or at least as Wang Yang, the corkscrew type move. Yang in WWE's always used the moonsault on a standing opponent. I don't think it's ever been given a name, or been referred to as Yang Time. So yeah, I think Yang Time's an outdated one.

As for the Choke Slam debate, I'd say that it definately should be for Kane, but shouldn't be for Taker. Taker's got the Tombstone, Last Ride and the Gogoplata all ahead of the Choke Slam in terms of finishers.

Guys, i've got entries from 15 of you, so a few more of you need to get your team in by the deadline this sunday.

King Cucaracha has the biggest squad, he's got 12 guys on his team.

And by the same token, only three guys have gotten only 7 people.

Everybody has their rosters in for the deadline on Sunday, just the above folk left to get their entries in. Of course, if there's anybody else wanting to play, they also have until Sunday to get their entries in.

I'm not going to update everybody's score tonight (it's 4am) but, and this won't surprise people, today's highest scorer was Shawn Michaels, mostly due to his 19 chair shots.

Michaels scored 33 points tonight.

I'll update the main page soon, but top scorers of Raw were:

Shawn Michaels: 33 points

Batista: 14 points

Chris Jericho: 10 points

Kane: 10 points

Mark Henry: 9 points.

Nobody took Shawn Michaels.

Just out of curiosity, did Jericho, Regal, and Orton also get points for being in the main event of Raw, or just JBL and Batista?

The rule states "Two points for appearing during the main event of a Raw/Smackdown/ECW show."

WOO!!! Last place!!!

Hey there. Fun first night. Quick question - any chance we could see the breakdowns for points and how people got them? IE:

Opening segment - Jericho appears - 2 pts.

Opening segmnt - Batista appears - 2pts.

etc etc?

I'm just trying to add up where all the points come from in relation to the score sheet.

Amazing that nobody took Michaels. :)

Shall I set up a seperate thread for statistics or lump it all in one thread?

As you say my good man, whoever appears in the main event of a TV show, including any segmants after, gets main event points.

So Jericho, Regal, Orton and also Adamle got main event points.
