alfdogg 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 Poor Leon...try to apologize to a girl, and what do you get. Maybe his luck will improve later. Poor Jade, too. Rough night for the Rodez clan to open things up. Speaking as someone who has had a close friend ask me out in the past, I thought Bo handled the rejection, for lack of a better term, pretty well. I wonder how the two will act around each other in the near future. Nice match/finish between Baron and CW. CW's stock has really risen since joining the Enterprise, no pun intended. Coach said it, but will Leon ever learn his lesson with this Nerdly family? I wonder where this one leads. If I had to come up with one term to describe the In-Terprise, naturally it would be FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION. I do have to say though, it was a little odd to see Leon go from humbled and apologetic right back to happy-go-lucky Leon in back-to-back segments. And only in the OAOAST does blackface still pass for comedy! Liked the J.C. Pennington bit. I would ask why a group of 7th-grade girls chose Finding Nemo as their movie of choice for a slumber party, but I still own and watch The Land Before Time on VHS, so I can't. Also, the line about "10 more hall monitors to prevent school shootings" is funny, because I pictured other elementary students as the hall monitors, ala the safety patrol in school. I suppose I should feel bad for finding humor in the image of a class of fourth-graders attempting to talk down a late-teens, trench coat-wearing emo kid in possession of arms, but I just do. Excellent interview segment with Mr. Moneymaker and Rush Limbaugh to follow. I wonder how far this angle with the kids will go. Great job on the fatal 4-way. Some nice spots in there, and a cliffhanger to finish. MOTN: Fatal 4-way LOTN: Listen, Rush, if I'm leaving a Heat game, and I see a black guy carrying a gun coming at me, I don't need to take the guy to Starbucks and get his opinion on the economic bailout passage and spend three years learning his hopes, dreams and aspirations for a better tomorrow to know "Oh no! Black guy with a gun! I'm probably gonna get shot!" Simple as that. The liberals would probably say I'm being racist. I need to understand. I need to learn. I understand there's a black guy with a gun, and I've learned that means I'm gonna get shot!" You shouldn't be at a Heat game in the first place, Mr. Moneymaker. Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2008 You laughed. Admit it. Indeed I did. At first I was like, awww no this dude alf done hacked into my photobucket account! I has been phished! Excellent, excellent DA promo. I'm looking forward to seeing Melissa and Reject in the coming weeks. Reject's been on fire as a character since the whole beef with Leon started way back during the summer and looks to keep on rollin. A Nerdly girls always means good things for one's career. Actually in the OAOAST a female valet pretty much guarantees success. Except for NRG. And we finally have another Nerdly girl who's a heel, to add to Malaysia. I don't really consider Molly a heel, because she just chills with her camera. I don't think when 149 created Marvin and Melvin he could've envisioned the Nerdly's becoming such a part of the show. I forgot to mention that DA promo from before ZH was top high quality shit. Like went beyond good wrestling, that woulda been great TV in any genre. Scorching! Poor Leon. Poor Leon. Is there no love for he who is the new age love machine? Funy bit with Alix and Jade afterwards. Real talk. USC>>>then most NFL teams. That was a very cute skit. Bo was a lot more compassionate and "let her down gently" then I thought he'd be. Molly! Yay! I really liked the segment and I like Molly and she was really good here. I gave her the personality of how I talk when I want people to be impressed by my cinematic background. Usually when I'm directing people though, I flip out and have wild tanrums and sometimes cry. Anyway, life gets better for Leon. But what must Maggie think about him not returning her call back? She ain't no hollaback girl, she ain't no hollabck girl. Fun little bit with the In Crowd/In-terprise and a great promo at the end. I figured Leon happy-go lucky dude and poon hound that he is would get cheered up from Molly throwin her art school mac on him. Plus its hard to space segments when half the show involves him or his sister in bad luc! Now, I can't get down with the diss on the golden retriever, though. @the political ad as I told tony. I hate politics so a chance to lampoon elections was not one to pass up. Couldn't find a good richie rich pic, 149. And I looked all over. Nobody gots respect for classics. Jade's day goes from bad to worse! Much, much worse. You knew it was only a matter of time before Malaysia reinserted herself in the title picture. Melody's scheme was pretty good though, girls run jealously game all the time. Rarely with twin brother's though. Guys need to run jealousy shit to, makes it seem like you have high value by showing that other women desire you. Very good ME, the boy KC put in DAT WORK. But what will happen with the world title? Intrigue abounds on OAOAST HeldDOWN!
Tony149 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 We open the show with yet another program I used to watch as a kid. And that’s a much better logo, btw. Excellent promos from Alf, Reject and Melissa to kick things off. Alf trashing the local sports scene never gets old. And am I the only one who hears Randy Orton’s voice whenever Reject speaks? No way did I ever expect the Nerdlys to become as big apart of the show as they have, but I did intend for them to be our Dudleys with all the different family members. Little did I know all would be girls! Leon got burned with Landon’s line about keeping his knees close, just to be safe. That Bo-Jade segment was so good I found myself feeling sorry for the poor girl. Hopefully Bo’s being honest about why the two wouldn’t work and not because he prefers more than reading Muscle and Fitness. Like I told Patty, the finish to BW/CW may be a first in wrestling history. From one first to another as Molly recognizes Leon for his adult films. But man, Rodez might as well throw himself in front of a moving truck because nothing good happens whenever he hangs with Nerdly girls. Sting had Ric Flair and Leon Rodez has Nerdly girls! The In-Terprise segment was gold. Melody went out with Bo once? Damn, you guys have a better memory than I do. Anyway, good stuff with Jade and Melody. Patty did an awesome job with the Race for the School House ‘08. Hilarious. All kinds of great lines. Too many for me to single out...and pick for quote of the show. Brickston vs. Maddix vs. Alfdogg vs. Bo: Hell of a TV main event with a cliffhanger ending! Who is the #1 contender? Guess we’ll all find out next week. MOTN: Fatal 4 Way QOTS: “I'd probably be a much better shoulder to cry on if we can wait like 20 minutes and do this over AIM. Face to face conversations aren't really my strongest fortay. Emoticons > Actual emotions.” -- Melody Nerdly

Hopefully Bo’s being honest about why the two wouldn’t work and not because he prefers more than reading Muscle and Fitness. Don't give Patty any ideas. Seriously, he's already pitched those ideas before, so it's not worth giving him any more. Melody went out with Bo once? Damn, you guys have a better memory than I do. Yeah, he basically walked off with Melody after a bunch of tag team division scrubs failed trying to take the 24/7 Title off him because I was stuck for an ending. What happened afterwards is lost in the annals of non-existant time.
