I thought it looked pretty good from the previews, good toke it up and check it out movie for sure. Blindness sure fell off the radar in no time also! That's been proven time and time again Yeah I guess I forgot that my Russell Crowe movie directed by Ridley Scott = Box Office Success theory was already disproved by A Good Year. Expected more out of The Express, the touchy feely true sports movies usually do a little better How to Lose Friends and Alienate People...26th place on week 2. Still playing on 1600+ screens. On one hand we have the ultra tired War on Terror/CIA genre that people are sick of seeing, and on the other hand a movie about a star football player that dies of leukhemia. Right now with the economy tanking horribly people need a bit of a fun pick me up at the movies, and something silly like the Chihuahua movie will fare well. Well, if you pretend "College" didn't get released. Which I think a lot of people are. And Sex Drive looks like it is on the same level as College, only Seth Green shows up. Plus Infinite Play list got released with Superbad star power and that didn't do that well either. It feels like a lull in that genre. Teens get their crazy movie next week with High School Musical 3. Granted it's not a teen sex comedy but as much as I hate to say this, High School Musical is the Grease of this generation and it going to make serious bank.
