WWE To Now Exclusively Call Their Talent "Entertainers"

So was this whole thing BS? They haven't changed any of the website references of Superstar to Entertainer at all and I haven't heard it on TV once since this was reported.. Even the London/Palumbo release calls them Superstars.

 

It is and it isn't.

 

My personal feelings are there is a real movement on this to happen, but only from a business stand point. As in, on TV and print, they're superstars and athletes, they have wrestling matches, etc. But when Vince and Co. book a venue and fill out legal documents or what have you, it's for entertainment, non-sports purposes and features exhibitions put on by entertainers. Therefore, no state athletic commission, Georgia regulations, etc.

 

The whole thing got overblown.
