I signed up, and it was fun, until the opening stuff was all over and done with and I figured out just how fast a measely four forum visits tend to fly by. You can easily burn through your whole day's allotment in twenty minutes, especially if you get killed a couple times.

Some of my harshest critics pointed out that one of my election promises wasn’t quite clear. I said I’d tax the richest active accounts by 25% and give it to the poorest accounts.

 

But who are the richest active accounts? Also, who are the poorest active accounts?

 

Frankly, I’m amazed you elected someone with such an unclear and obviously unthoughtful policy.

 

Here’s how it worked out:

 

– I have taxed the top 50 active players with the most flezz by 25%

 

– I have given it to the top 2 active players with the smallest balance. That is currently me and my opponent, John McCain, since we have a balances of 0 and are currently the most active players with no flezz.

Holy balls does the difficulty of forums jump incredibly sometimes. I was able to fairly easily pwn whatever the level 21 forum is that has a mission, here them roar I think? And drop the XSS and other code in as well. So I figured I would at least have a shot at the level 22 forum Battle threadz constructer something or other, but I was barely able to take out one thread, out of like 12. Guess it's back to saving up for new equipment for me.

When fighting forums of a higher level than you, there's a penalty to the amount of damage you do to the forum, so straight levelling up is the way to beat those.

I've been playing this for awhile now, bought Episode 2 a couple days ago. I have a question maybe Thoth or someone else who has Ep 2 can help me with. I can't seem to get the amish dude to come back from being away. I've pwned the Amish forum twice now and got way more IP addresses than you need, yet everytime I go back, the guy's not on sTalk. What am I missing?

Assuming you're doing it correctly, that might be a bug. I did it and he was on sTalk. Post something in flamebate, or report it as a bug.

I've discovered the magic of loading myself up with luck when I'm done for the day and getting a lot more valuable junk the next morning. Four polka boxes = +40 luck = $$$$. A few more days of this and I should be able to max out my gear.

In this case I'm bitching about the pony forum, whom I decided to take a whack at with my last visit of the day. After a thread or two you get the boot. This is getting old. Suicide, do nothing but suck up, get booted early, these events shouldn't cost a forum visit.

Which makes it doubly stupid because you actually paid for episode 2, so you would think they could throw you a bone and not make you waste turns. Whatever. If I figure out what I need to not get the boot that fucking pony forum is going down tomorrow.

What's a good level to start Episode 2 on? I'm just doing jobs for Herschel while I'm trying to figure out how much case I've got for my upcoming move, and I've gotten up to 15. Is that going to make me overpowered for the start of 2, or can/should I get a couple of more levels under my belt and upgrade my equipment some more? I think my equipment is actually pretty good for a hacker (Haxtor 10TB HD, the RAM IT UP 8", and 2 6000RXs) and I'm basically kicking the crap out of everything my level and lower, so I should be pretty good there.

I started Episode 2 at I think level 9, so you'll rape it for a while at level 15. But it's a vast enough Episode that you're still going to hit the wall eventually and need to level up to advance.

Other than whatever better .moar files there might be available I think I'm pretty much maxed on gear now. And the best hacker equipment has +10 luck on it, so I don't even have to equip boxes anymore to get better junk. When you beat Episode 2 does it let you keep playing?

I started at 10. You're way ahead of what you need to be, start having fun.
