Guest FELX and GRUNT AND TAUNTY Report post Posted November 7, 2008 I picked Cal? I'm almost positive I took USC, or at least meant to. Oh well. I'll go with it.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 Texas Tech looks to have this game in control and with Cincinnati defeating West Virginia as expected, that'll give me another win. edit: Might have spoken too soon. WVU has taken the game to OT in improbable fashion but UC takes it back for the win.
MFer 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 I have to pray that this TT/OSU game stays under 75 points (which isn't looking very likely right now) because there were no differing picks in my matchup...gay.
Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 As long as neither Texas Tech or OK State score more than a field goal in the final two minutes it looks like i'll actually win a tiebreak for once.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 Wow, so I just barely win my tiebreak. If two more points had been scored in the Texas Tech-Oklahoma State game, I'd have lost. But will the narrow win be enough for Arizona to remain #1?!?!?!?!?? Stay tuned!

Bored 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 Not a whole lot to discuss this week, but we did have some small shifts in the rankings. The Top 4 all won and have separated themselves slightly from the rest of the Top 10 but the margin between the four of them is razor thin. Now #5, #6, and #7 all lost this week but all hold their overall raking but they also all lose about two rating points. The big winner this week ended up being traditional power CanadianChris as he finally cracks the Top 10 this year. Like I said we had some small shifts in the rankings and one of them is at the top. Bored Championship Series Rankings thru Week 11 1. Nebraska - Mecca 2.45 2. Arizona - UZI Suicide 2.6 3. N.C. State - AboveAverage484 3.0 4. Miami of Ohio - Hawk 34 3.1 5. Tennessee - Canadian Brandon 9.4 Other Receiving Votes: Kentucky (Danville Wrestling), Minnesota (Vern Gagne), Ohio State (Gert T), Virginia (Edwin MacPhisto) And as I promised last week, going to do a quick rundown of the bowl picture. I also said I'd take a look at the conference championships but as I do every year I have to put it off for another week as there is way too much uncertainty in the standings. Obviously if you are in first place right now, you control your own destiny. In case you forgot I had to expand the schedule to 13 games this year because the college football season is a week longer this year so we still have two scheduled games left. That also means you need 7 wins to become bowl eligible and 8 to lock up a bid. Way things are looking I'm probably going to add a 10th bowl game as we already have 15 eligible teams for the 18 spots, with 12 other teams still alive. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 Really bad week for me. Neither one of my upset picks were even close. Now, I'm not only going to have to win out to have a shot at the Bored Bowl, I'll probably have to be within a point of the top point total both weeks too. (My chances of making the conference title game look pretty slim.)
