The Hockey Thread

I was at the Red Wings-Bruins game. Wings looked decent in the first but once they fell behind, they looked out of sync, and the defense made some mad moves through most of the game. I really was hoping I would get to see Osgood play but not under those circumstances. Eh Either way, It was still good to see my favorite team for the first time since 2005.

Saw the Reign play Smuesy's Alaska Aces tonight. It was my 5th home game attended out of 8 played. Although shot totals were pretty even, Ontario controlled most of the game and won 3-2. Alaska's only goals were on a 5-on-3 and a too-little-too-late shot with 2minutes left. Got to see the Reign score on a penalty shot. The two teams play each other tomorrow, but I can't go. It's my friend's birthday.

You should check out Hockey Night in Canada, since you get the NHL Network. It's a lot of fun

 

I got addicted to it when I was interning for KTLA's sports department and we would have it on one of our feeds on the weekends. The office would stop when Coach's Corner came on. I'm happy that NHLN shows HNIC, if nothing else for Don Cherry and for After Hours.
