The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 First play from scrimmage.... AND WE'RE OFF!!!!
fazzle Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. One play. augh. Edit: at least they didn't get anything from it. ...wow. Jackson. Seriously. Fuck you.
fazzle Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 ...... excuse me. I'm gonna go shoot something.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 WOO!!! Strike 2!!!! Until the Bills can run for more than 1 yard a carry...this isn't going to change.
Black Lushus Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Don't make me start cheering for LOLZman...
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 3 for 3... This is exactly what I was expecting.
CanadianChris Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 What is wrong with Trent Edwards? This is the worst I've ever seen him play.
fazzle Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Ok.. WHY are the Bills running an empty backfield shotgun on 3rd and 1? This isn't the first time that has fucked them this year either.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I'd never thought I'd say this, but bring in JP. 3 picks in a QUARTER is inexcusable.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 For the last month all the teams the Bills have played have realized that there is no reason to play the run. So he has a lot of time to look downfield as everyone is covered...and eventually he tries to force it... And he throws picks. That...in a nutshell...is what happened to Trent Edwards.
jimmy no nose Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Trent Edwards throws such a nice ball that it's impossible not to catch it. 6 passes and 3 completions to each team. Impressive.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Is the o-line that bad or has Lynch regressed?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 The Bills need to spend the rest of the half doing NOTHING but running. I don't care if they go 3 and out and punt every series... Until someone THINKS they're going to run...they're just gonna defend the pass hard.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 There's the Bills defense I know.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 To be fair it was a tickytack call that canceled out the Browns going 3 and out a their own 10. ... And then they can't buy a break when their guy gets assfucked going for the ball.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 13-0. They're lucky it isn't about 24-0 or so at this point. Well...it's still not as bad as that Dallas game was...
Psycho Penguin Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 So, just another NFL game going on here? I can't wait for the Lions to hang with the Titans for a half.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I remember how excited I was to go to the Toronto game. What a difference this past month has made.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 See...it's not fucking hard. They're not trying to stop you from running...and Jackson just takes whats there. Now they might be able to complete a fucking pass.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Wow Marshawn. Thank you. Just tighten up the pass defense please.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Wow....it's not fucking rocket science afterall.
fazzle Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Hey, look at that. There might just be a professional football team in Buffalo after all
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 I know the Bills have pretty mediocre for a while, but you guys make it seem like their the fucking Raiders or Lions. Sheesh.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 That's because I've sat and watched the full games and not just the highlights. They HAVE been the Raiders or Lions since the San Diego game. They CAN'T run. So now they CAN'T throw. Their defense hangs around for about 3 quarters or so and then disapears. And the coaching decisions (especially the offensive playcalling of late) has made me wonder when they forgot how to play on 3rd and 1.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Or maybe the Bills are just a team that overachieved in the beginning of the season and now showing who they really are? It seems to me that the Bills kind of over rely on Marshawn Lynch a bit and Trent Edwards can yet make those big plays just yet.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 It doesn't work quite that black and white. The inability to run has always been the problem this year (even at 5-1). The problem is their failure to make any adjustments once someone figured out how to take away the short pass that was serving as the defacto running game. It's been weeks and they still haven't figured out how to get the ground game to be even passable when it needs to be. The Bills only know how to win 1 way. Long drives with short passes. They've had a long time to try and practice and use anything else...and they can't figure it out. They have talent...they just haven't figured out more than 1 way to use it yet. That's coaching, IMO.
Zetterberg is God Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 It's a miracle this is still a game and Trent better put it together in the second half.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 So in short, the Bills are one-dimensional. Sounds about right. Still, 5-4 and in playoff contention is still pretty decent for a team like the Bills (As a Raider fan, you kind of forget what meaningful football in November is like). I don't blame you being passionate right now, its exciting to have your team play meaningful games late.
Kinetic Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 These games won't be meaningful for long if they don't start winning. As in, start winning tonight. The rest of their division is surging ahead of them.
