Marley and Me

I saw this last night. The movie was wonderfully done, and Owen Wilson impressed me for the first time as he wasn't playing the same character he typically plays.

 

I cried like a little girl when Marley was dying and when he was finally put down, I almost lost it. When the movie was over, I went back to my parents' house and hugged my dog for a while.

Did you read the book? It's a sad read... not sure if I'm up for the movie.

I loved this movie. I'm a dog person, so the movie really appealed to me and struck a chord
