MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2009 Anyone else see this? It was on PTI this afternoon - it's a unique hybrid of ridiculously stupid, yet kind of likeable: Pittsburgh Mayor to Change His Name Stahl is German for steel too. He went from Ravensteel to Steelersteel.
cheetoe 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 I think our Mayor would like to change her name right about now, just so she could skip town. She has so much heat on her, even the Ravens don't want her anywhere around. I think all the projections are wrong. I think both teams are gonna score 20+ points in this one. Ravens winning of course.
tonyjaymzretro 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 far be it from me to insult a fellow mick, but man, O'Malley and his people have royally fucked Baltimore and Maryland. figured i'd give the injury report for the game. Ravens: Terrel Suggs:Questionable(shoulder) Derek Mason:Questionable(shoulder, trapezius, knee) Samari Rolle:Questionable(groin) Steelers: Justin Hartwig:Probable(knee) Troy Polamalu:Probable(knee) -ESPN Looks like Rolle is the on most likely not to play...which leaves the Ravens with Frank Walker & Fabian Washington...damn
Psycho Penguin 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 I'm really concerned about the injuries and the fact there hasn't been a bye week since week 2.
imajackoff? 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 For the first time in 19 years one team will play a football game for the 18th straight week. This team will play without their top 2 cornerbacks (Rolle, McAllister) , and starting safety (Landry). If their leading pass rusher (Suggs) even plays, he will do so with one arm. Speaking of playing with one arm, their #1 receiver (Mason) has been doing so since week 10 along with their starting LT (Gaither). Oh yeah, and their QB is a rookie. It's been an amazing season here in Bmore. I had them at 2-14 before the season started. I mean, how in the hell do you make it to the AFC Championship when your third WR currently has 0 career catches?? I have no doubt they they will leave it all on the field tonight against the better, healthier Steelers. This team is all about heart and believing in one another. Psycho Penguin 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 I had them for 7-8 wins just because the division is so bad.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 18, 2009 I had them at 4 or less. No faith in them whatsoever, and I freely eat my words.
tonyjaymzretro 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 I pegged them 7-9, 3rd in the division behind Steelers( who I had at 10-6) and Browns(8-8) Both teams have impressed me... Steelers ran the gauntlet this year, both teams are tough as nails.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 Rolle is out, everyone else is going. hopefully the Ravens lose the coin toss. 12-2 when they lose it, 1-3 when they win it.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2009 Martina McBride sang the Anthem last week in Nashville because the Titans supposedly had such a great home record when she sang. She's singing it this week in Pittsburgh.

MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I was starting to worry that the Steelers O-Line was going to hold up...

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 "Not a very good pass reciever" is an understatement. They usually fix the mistake that Parker just made in pop warner.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 He dropped it! HAHA! OMG what a lucky break that is!
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I would think the Steelers could gain a foot within four downs, waste of a challange. Edit: Nevermind, good challange Baltimore.
devo 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 That's a hell of a challenge.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 And thats a callback to the Holmes phantom TD in week 15!
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I didn't even think of that until Harbaugh challenged it.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 That's a hell of a challenge. I remember the challenge he had last week that the catch was made that would have shortened a FG that TN ultimately missed. Held em to a FG, huge turn of events. and Hines Ward is out after hurting his knees. Double on Holmes and see what happens.
Edwin MacPhisto 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 I'm mildly confused by that. Why wouldn't that be just a fumble that Holmes then recovered? Two feet down, possession of the ball...what am I missing?
RepoMan 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 That last Gutair Hero ad was the gayest looking collection of athletes ever.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 Flacco needs to start taking the ball and running with it instead of throwing it away. He can do that, Ive seen him do it.
tonyjaymzretro 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 flacco is looking very, very very much like a rookie
