DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2009 The highlight of which is Adam Bomb hyping them up in a video package at WrestleMania 11. That said, the idea that Vince and JR were trying to label a mentally handicapped individual a "Special Olympian" in some sort of odd PC move did cross my mind. Bigelow34 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2009 Well, Rhode Island usually hosts a lot of national special olympic events, so there is a chance he really was one and maybe had won a prize or something. And I would have assumed thet Ahmed would be a tweener against Taker there and then turn heel after losing, but that is just a guess.
Obi Chris Kenobi 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2009 To give HHH credit, he helped to put over Mankind's Heel turn in the KotR match they had. Obviously, it was already in progress, but they worked the match well to put him over.
Enigma 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2009 I like the sign at the end of the '97 PPV that's in clear view when Vince is sending the show out that says "VINCE, DON'T RUIN SASUKE".
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2009 That same sign was on a Raw around that time too.
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2009 God I'll be embarrassed if I remember this right but wasn't it Scott Keith's roommate with the sign?
Guest Smues Report post Posted February 11, 2009 Pretty sure Keith's roommates signs were at Canadian Stampede, and the raw the day after.
