I might I actually have liked that match if it wasn't for Cole.

I wish it were a bit longer, but it was a good match. Hopefully Angle didn't just carry Cena. I heard some good stuff about the kid, but I also heard good things about Lesnar before he came, so.....

Did that finish look like a shoot to anyone else? It looked like Kurt REALLY hooked him.

He probably did...it was a great amateur wrestling move. Doesn't make it a "shoot" in the main sense of the word, though...just realistic.

Cena/Angle was a solid match for a curtain jerker, very solid. However I tend to disagree with some people. I didn't think it was a "great" match. In large part because Cena looked a bit green (understandable) and the match wasn't that long. A promising start for John Cena though. I hope the WWE continues to at least open their shows with good wrestling matches.....

Cena looks like a long lost Von Erich brother. Anyway, I remember a couple years ago seeing a special on Rick Bassman's UPW on the TLC channel or something like that. I remember Prototype being on it. He came off as a real nice guy. They went grocery shopping with him, and he bought 7 dozen eggs. It seemed a bit odd, but apparently, the guy eats a dozen eggs every morning for breakfast along with a host of other things. It was pretty crazy.

I agree with this somewhat...compared to, say, the WWF of early 2000, it was a good but unspectacular match. Compared to the shit that passes for wrestling lately, though, it was outstanding.

Now I like Billy and Chucky as a guilty pleasure but that match blew.

Cena impressed me. But why didn't he get the puch instead of Brock? Serously, that one match has made me a bigger fan of Cena than anything Brock has ever done. Plus, Cena is the only guy yet to make Ruthless Aggression sound cool.

Serously, Out of all the newcomers to come from the OVW this years, I would have to say Cina has impressed me the most. I mean, sure, he only said two words on the mic, but he didn't stutter, and he can wretsle pretty good. If only they'd give Conway and Orton more time, I'd be happy

Myabe Conway, Orton, and Cena could for an Alliance, or Union of "new blood," that'd be ok... and NEW. New being GOOD.

Actually yeah, Val just doesn't have "it" anymore, like he had in 98. I don't wanna sound mean but am I the only one who thinks they should bring up like all the good ovw?hwa talent and just flush out the midcard? They could easly get rid of rikishi, farooq, val, etc. without it causing damage to ratings. Orton and Cena would be a good tag team too.
