Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted June 28, 2002 To borrow a phrase from ESPN's Sports Guy, Val not only brings nothing to the table, he actually takes things off the table.

Guest SuperTonyJaymz Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Yeah sense they have/were pushing the whole Desire thing, have Orton, Conway, Cena and Sean O'Haire become a New Blood stable. BUT they all wouldn't be faces and/or heels. Like Cena and Orton would be the babyfaces of the group, conway is the jericho like heel and O'Haire is just a monster. They wouldn't neccacerly like each other but their 1. Desire to make it big and 2. Desire to bring down the old guar would make them help out each other. You know, a lesser of the two evils type thing.
Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Yay! My Canadian Hero is on! I love this Team Canada 2.0 angle. Good segment by Storm, bad one by Henry.
Guest Cactus Clothesline Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Man, Kurt Angle is so effin' good it's ridiculous. The match was really good (not free tv MOTY like some made it sound). It's hard to imagine a developmental getting more of an immediate rub. Cena showed some promise - if only they'd let Brock go and show what he can do on the mat. PLEASE, PLEASE Vince, do whatever it takes to keep Angle from leaving. This would be the true "deathblow" to the company at least in my mind. I'm a HHH fan and all but if God was a wrestling fan, Kurt Angle would be the one dicking down Steph.

Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Well, Angle was made to look like shit tonight, nothing new. Oh for christ's sake, what the fuck more do you want? He had a very good match, he WRESTLED. So WHAT if he didnt stink it up with the main event guys, would you rather Kurt sucks ball in the ME or do you want to see good WRESTLING? Stop being so down all the time, AS.
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Actually Angle looked good in my opinion. Less dorky, more like his oh too brief "psycho who will snap your ankle just cause he can" type persona. Plus, Angle kicked out of like 10 Cena pins. If they had better annoucers, then they could have stressed the whole endurance, how it takes alot of endurance to keep kicking out like that.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 28, 2002 My god, Lance is my hero. He just had a good match with Mark f'n Henry.
Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted June 28, 2002 10 years, Vince?? 10 YEARS??? What the hell were smoking when you signed this lump? I love the fact that Mark Henry gets put over by the announcers when Storm's the one bumping all over the place for him. Great finish, though.
Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Lance is one of the best of our day, maybe he can get as over as say: Bret Hart.
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Hey remember when Henry went down to OVW and everyone was like "he is improving by leaps and bounds". They sure suckered us huh.

Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Well, Angle was made to look like shit tonight, nothing new. Um, Sault, he pinned his opponent clean in the center of the ring. How is that making him look like shit?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 28, 2002 He got his ass kicked by a rookie, won on a fluke, didn't even get UP first, and ran away from the guy. That makes him look good? And selling those "Bah Gawd, he didn't even come close" punches didn't help Angle either
Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Nice Dropkick by Storm... I dont see the hubbub about Angle selling for Prototype. It was a great way to bring him out. Angle gained his heat back by not shaking his hand
Guest Nezbyte Report post Posted June 28, 2002 TEAM-CANADA-IS-BACK! Just-eliminate-Test-and-they'll-be-alright. Test is a great enforcer and could improve by being with Storm, maybe he'll develope a character too.

Sure, Cena looked promising, but Angle looked like a ruthless heel who just was too smart for the young cocky kid.....
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Anglesaut came up with a good angle for Test that could get Test over as lovable but stupid babyface: Have him constantly try to get into Team Canada but Christian or whatever being like "Uh sure..wait..what the hell is behind you! *Test turns around as Christian runs away* Test: Ah shucks...*sniff* I have no friends.... Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted June 28, 2002 Watching that ad for "The Game" makes me really wish I ddsn't have to go out and buy it. If there's any doubt that HHH is the master manipulator, there isn't anymore. Putting Flair/Steamboat on that DVD to pump up sales was a stroke of genius. Guest J*ingus Report post Posted June 28, 2002 He didn't pin him on a fluke, he took him down in a sweet-looking amateur move and held him to the mat VERY solidly. In fact, he pinned the guy with a move he's never even used before.
