Lakers win a thriller, and I am shocked.

I'm partly doing this to move discussion here, hopefully.

The Lakers win, Nash choked and has an injured back. The Lakers had no business being in that ballgame. They got very lucky that Nash positioned himself on the baseline twice.

Hopefully, I'll get some comments to talk about the game, if not, oh well.

I'm just ecstatic that the Lakers will play the Clippers in the 2nd round, and once again the focus of the basketball world will turn to Los Angeles.

It's funny how people everywhere don't want to admit that Nash blew that game not once but twice by putting himself in a position to get his pocket picked by Smush, and then tied up by Walton. It's also funny how it was a league wide conspiracy that caused Smush to hit a 3, and Kobe to make the two biggest shots of the series with the game on the line both times. I should also rescind any praise I ever expressed for Marion since he has done about as much as Amare in this series. Ripper's prediction of the series being over in 5 looks sound right now. Sadly for him, he backed the wrong horse.

I think the Suns will win Game 5.

The league controls Smush's hands, they control Nash's hands which caused him to put both hands on the ball, they control Kobe's always clutch shooting. That's always the last defense, is that the refs didn't do their jobs.

The way I look at it, is that if you need the refs to make a call at the end of the game to cause you to be able to win, you don't deserve to win. All Nash had to do was drive right down the middle of the court, it's not like he's a terrible ball handler.

The Lakers didn't deserve to win, they got very lucky that the Suns went into USC choke mode.

Stop being modest Laker fan.

The Suns have no heart and they are done. They walked off the floor with their heart and pride cut out. They don't have the resolve to win another game. The Suns are finished on Tuesday. I don't think Nash has an injured back. I think he sprained his pussy.

As Jim Rome says, scoreboard. While I think either a foul or timeout should've been called on the Walton jumpball, Nash shouldn't have choked up the ball in regulation for there to be OT. Simple as that.

Stop kidding yourself about a competitive LA series. 5 game Laker series, max.

I'm not trying to be modest, that's just what I actually think will happen.

The Suns are done, but I think they'll play with some semblance of pride in front of their home crowd.
