ok i know its a little early but here's a thread, very little is known right now: ok here are the Summerslams up for vote on Pick Your Big One poll: i'll edit any info that comes along
-
if its ok i am gonna go ahead and start an August 24/7 thread, and GAB 1990 won the poll, i was hopin 96 would win since i seen 1990 last year, no biggie though
-
technically he would be the undisputed Light heavyweight champ and a Middleweight champ for Pride
-
The WWE would have fallen in size anyway. After a few of the early patches, TEW was tweaked to make it harder for a promotion to achieve and maintain growth. I've had a few crazy things happen too; Ricky Morton retired and died on the same day at one point. is there an EWR type thread on this board anywhere by chance There is in the Video Games section. Just do a search and it should pop up. i could not find one, if there is an active one could i have a link otherwise i might start one up

it would be a good idea to spread out Rey's and Triple H's return, i see Rey back around Summerslam
-
i wouldnt call Santino a bad IC champ, he just had the wrong type of gimmick, it was an underdog-esque gimmick, what should happen is he's either repackaged maybe as a mob boss and shipped to ECW or Smackdown and pair him with Nunzio and maybe make someone like Burchill as an enforcer
-
yea i noticed they havent updated their 24/7 section yet, i hope they add the new MNW or i am gonna be really pissed, BTW besides that what else is gonna be added, and i checked my Big Ones and the readded WM 23, i already have the DVD and watched it, so if someone watches it, let us know if they cut the Benoit/MVP match
-
honestly in my own opinion i really think this case is still open, but the media (mostly Fox News) is convinced 1000% that it was roid rage and nothing more
-
that was a sick ass spear, i would have thought with everything goin on a guy like Kennedy or Booker would win, i like that Cody seems to be gettin pushed into a major role
-
i think WWE will be fine after all this but not without a couple of gunshot wounds, i think out of this WWE will lose a few big names because they dont wanna get roped into the media firestorm, but then again who really knows
-
Santino is better then we are giving him credit for, he's basically an underdog who is still "training" but hey hes got Maria so hes good in my book
-
i'd say about 1998 for me, really when Russo started booking
-
yikes, was he chokin on that kid (or was it his son)
-
Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
Nate replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
man thats just really weird and kinda creepy, the more the news on Benoit that comes out the more sick i get and find it harder to respect him as a pro wrestler and what he did -
yea i like that TNA is slowly understanding that they need to push their homegrown talent more and more, hopefully TNA can keep this roll going and we start seeing main events that last 10 minutes or longer
-
ok watching the Legends: Heat Seekers show and there is a quick shot of Benoit and later on Nancy, now if they have really pulled all Benoit stuff, i am surprised it didnt get pulled, like i said before if WWE pulls any and all shows with Benoit and/or Nancy on it i would seriously consider cancelling my subscription
-
Fight of the Year: Spencer Fisher vs Sam Stout 2 Fighter of the Year: Anderson Silva Best KO: Rashad Evans KO on a previous Fight Night (forgot who he knocked out though) Best Sub: Nick Diaz Gogoplota on Gomi Worst Fighter: Tim Sylvia by far Worst Fight: Josh Koscheck vs Diego Sanchez (it was billed as a possible Fight of the year) Best Interview: Rampage Jackson Show of the Year: probably UFN 10 Fighter to Watch: Urijah Faber (i think in time he'll wind up in the UFC for the Lightweight division) Upset of the Year: Houston Alexander over Keith Jardine Weight Class of the Year: in terms of name value i would say Heavyweight division, but in terms of good matches its a tie for me between Lightweight and Welterweight i'll add one more poll question Worst Show: Dynamite USA
-
ok i can understand the sensitivity of not wanting to show Benoit footage or anything with Nancy, but what purpose does it serve to pull the entire show, i think if this became a permanent thing pullin full shows with Chris Benoit and/or Nancy i would seriously consider cancelling my subscription to WWE 24/7
-
man i am gonna be really pissed if WWE starts pulling stuff from 24/7 because of Benoit, that would mean ALOT of missing stuff, and if thats the case as much as i hate Benoit for what he did, i will really hate WWE to not air content just because Benoit may pop up in one or 2 segments

HGH is Human Growth Hormone. It is not a steroid, but often gets lumped in with steroids by the general media because many people use them as PEDs. I missed Rome today. What did he say about Benoit that got you so mad? i dont know, i've watched Jim Rome a few times, he just comes off as an insensitive jackass
-
i hate Jim Rome, that guy is such a damned prick, i've thought those steroids may have been for Daniel's Fragile X, because isnt HGH a form of a steroid
-
um did anyone get Wrestlemania 23 and then it vanished, because that happened to me and also the MNW 2/3/97 vanished too and that wasnt supposed to expire till next week

i think in terms of how the product is presented there will be subtle changes we wont notice, now when it comes to internal and what wrestlers do in the off time they get, i see some major league changes i think we will see some sort of Government sanction on drug testing and regardless of a guy's place in the promotion i think the government would put pressure on WWE to do somethin or face major fines for refusing to do something about it, and i think there will be wheels put in motion to check the mental stability of the performers, i think it would also benefit to consolodate house shows to have all three brands and if anything run shows Fridays and Saturdays and if there is a PPV on that week no house shows, and tell the guys your not gonna use to stay home, and on the subject of PPVs, i can see this maybe not immediate but in the next couple years gettin scaled back to 8-11
