Bride and Prejudice wasn't a bad movie. Naveen was pretty good in his role.

Afghan man who converted to Christianity might get death penalty
Stephen Joseph replied to a topic in Current Events
And right now, the Afghan government is doing everything it can to find a loophole and avoid the world outcry. No way is this guy getting the death penalty or any punishment. FYI: Shariah law is a bunch of bullcrap. In the surviving original Islamic text (those passages that were written by Mohammed) He preaches that the Christian and Jewish brethen are people of the same god that Islam is, and that they are to be respected and treated just as they were islamic. In his original text, he says NOTHING about killing someone who converts to the other two faiths, but he warns against it for fear of weakening the flock, really. Over time, his warning got interpreted by the caliphs as punishment, and then to grab power, to death, as well as how mulsims are supposed to treat jews and xians. So sad to see a religion whose author was also a great economist fall so far -

protestant reformantion didnt happen until the 1600s or so. and judaism had been around alot longer before technically, both christianity and islam have roots in judaism, so theyre both just as old, though islam proper was started about 630 ad -

UAE-based company pulls out of deal to take over US ports
Stephen Joseph replied to a topic in Current Events
You have no idea how bad that cap increase is. I hope you all are ready to pay off that debt when you're 40, when the whole damn economy collapsed because foreigners pulled their investment out of the US. hell, the only reason why we can finance our debt is through foreign investment. So remember the next time you go to caribou coffee, you're funding arabs. Buy starbucks, and buy american. Note, when I say you all, I mean you all. Because my white ass will be in Mexico. -
They say Liriano won't start off starting. No big worry there. lol.
-
Yup, That just came through today too. Why'd we have the draft yesterday? Oh well, thank goodness my team isn't built on relievers.

I just lost Mori for the season

C J. Willingham ---Promising young prospect who will likely be playing both outfielder and catcher. Thus he gets alot more games and alot more chances. In AAA. he went .324-19-54 in 66 games. Make that a full season and we could see a 30-100 outfielder who is catcher eligible. TOP 5 Catcher 1B P. Fielder -- Leading candidate for NL Rookie of the Year. Possible 25 HR season. 2B F. López -- Great fantasy upside, and eligible at two position. A .300 30-100-10 season is a good possibility 3B Á. Rodríguez --TOP 5 overall players. Nuff Said. SS J. Rollins --TOP 5 SS. Active 36 game hitting streak. Each year in the past three he's struck out less, and increased average, stolen bases, and hits. A .300-15-60-50 is what I am expecting. I look at my infield, and feel I've got a contender. That's a damn strong infield. OF C. Beltrán -- I think he will be a .280-25-90-25 guy. For when I got him, a freaking bargain. OF M. Holliday -- Solid outfielder on and off Coors Field. I look for him to improve slightly, a .300-20-95-20 season. OF W. Peña -- Sucks that he got traded. He strikes out too much, but he's a threat for 100 RBI's. Decent 3 outfielders. Nothing special. I'm not burned by any of them. Util P. Wilson --Upside guy. A bargain again when I got him. His splits stats last year were very good, and his chances at a 30-100 are pretty good. BN G. Matthews Jr. -Eh. Starters SP J. Schmidt --Low Whip, a K and Inning, what is not to like? Well he is getting old. This is probably his last year of good stats. SP M. Cain -- High Upside pitcher. I like his chances. SP F. Liriano --Supposedly is the "franchise pitcher" for the twins. Another high upside guy. P R. López P B. Chen --The Leo Mazzone effect. Nuff said. RP J. Crain RP L. Ayala --Bunch of middle relievers. Just want to squeeze some wins from them. BN A. Otsuka BN C. Wang BN S. Mori --Meh. The strength of my team is obviously offense. I punted saves as to me, its a worthless category given how erratic closers are. I'll pick up a closer here and there when they emerge.
-
im fine thanks for asking you must need offense
-
I like the idea tony! I am going to go somewhere with the Hoff angle...but I will not do much until you are done with your angle with him at Anglemania.

Finally, a new episode!

More Official TNA House Shows on the Way
Stephen Joseph replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
I'm traveling down from DC with a friend (WITH MY TNA STAFF BADGE~!) to see the show on April 1st. Hopefully they honor my badge still and I can get backstage and scoop and interview or pics or something. I do not want to get my ass whooped by Shark Boy in pool again. I don't know what capacity they have, but they have ringside being rows 1-5 for 25, general admissin for 10. Its in the old Lowe's building, so I can assume that its a pretty decent size building, maybe 1000 total. It is a race weekend, so I bet it will be sold out. -

There will be an interaction between Hoff and SJ

Yeah that works. I could say something about how I fought in a world title match with an injury...Parka just couldnt cut it, and the upstarts bought off his contract or something. Bring in the SWF guys, throw in dan black, we got ourselves a mini tournament. Hey, HEY! IDEA! What if we did a tournament and didn't include the SWF guys, and thats why they strongarm their way in or something. They're new, they're hungry? Its a thought. I'd love for the SJ/X title/New guys to go on for 2 ppv matches (blowoff is the second) so that I've got a storyline for a bit before the final blowoff of the big angle. Is that okay? Also, SJ will be in still tweener face mode. Is that okay?
