There's still an argument on this? As If. 1) Quoting wikipedia doesn't make your argument. Posting 2 liners doesn't make an argument either. Rhetoric is the study of language. Silly me for having a degree in rhetoric. (he says) "Today in my speech class (high school) I wouldn't stand up for the pledge and I was took to the dean's office were I was called unAmerican and told I should move to Canada. They didn't seem to understand that I don't legally have to stand up. " Where does that say anything about religious beliefs. That statement is written with the intention of sparking a controversy. That's the kind of statement whereupon the speaker can come back later on and claim a high road that is undeserved. Tyler called him on it. Bravo.

No. I'm not. What part of this kid is an attention-whore do you not get? There are so many people twisting these arguments of freedom of speech in this thread that they're not even noticing that their logic is faulty. We have the freedom of speech. Because its a freedom, we should use it responsibily. If you choose to act like a dumbass, you help erode our freedom of speech. The argument Tyler and I are both making is that we fully support the right to protest, the freedom to protest, and hell we have both done it. Butwe werent a teenage dumbass about it. Nothing in his initial post belies an overwhelming concern about "Under God" It's rhetorical is more indicative of an attention-whoring 16 year old whose ego isn't in check with reality. That is why Tyler and I deride him.

I thought you purported to be a libertarian? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am. I still show respect for my country. I stand for the anthem, and stood for the pledge. Mind you, I didnt say it all, but I stood up at least. Lots of dead people deserved at least that. Libertarians are NOT against American government. We just like a very small government.

Agreed. Pussy. Exactly. But then again, it's that teenage "I KNOW IM RIGHT DAMMIT IM SMARTER THAN PEOPLE AND I DONT NEED TO SHOW RESPECT TO ANYONE BECAUSE I WANT TO STICK IT TO THOSE HIGH AND MIGHTY CHRISTIANS SO I WONT STAND BECAUSE THATS NOT HIGH AND MIGHTY AND SELF CENTERED AND THE PLEDGE IS PRAYER!!! OMGBUSHROVEARGH2005. Dude, you're fucking tool.

My thoughts were to have the younger guys talk first, and then you come in later. Basically, you let them have the floor and reveal their main motivation, but then step in and talk about why you "claimed the throne" and stepped up to lead them. The whole basic gist of how you had sympathy for them, because you want to erase the sins of your past, etc. Like we had talked about earlier. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Word. Would you like me to write my segment there?

Well, yeah, I hope you can tie that hatred of Zack into SJ's reason for joining the Upstarts. To continue with the "ringer" storyline, would this be a good place for Zack to accuse SJ, of asking him why, and SJ responding that he just made a business decision, and theres someone more qualified to speak (and hand the microphone over to static, calling him "their spokesman". SJ's just in it because by being aligned, he's got a world title shot now, which is really more than Zack and Co ever did for him, accpetance etc. Just my thoughts. Eski and I are doing promo-land this week

He's playing up his character. Once again, PRL delivers an awesome, awesome match. Writing-wise, best of show. Big props to Tony for the match-assistance. I'm getting there people. I think Alf's built up the Heartland title very well. It seems like a US Championship level title, just below the world. Very nice to have a fighting champion too. EDIT Btw, I didnt have a clue about the other matchs' double pin finish. Tony and I had decided on ours last week. Guess it was a theme.
