I enjoy this show. Unfortunately my parents don't get Space up here in Toronto so I'm SOL for the moment (at least I can watch Numb3rs though). But anyways, I think that the producers have done a solid job with the show. And also, I find it ironic that the two sci-fi shows that are getting the critical acclaim and ratings (Galactica and the 4400) are run by two guys best known for Deep Space Nine, while the Trek franchise has crashed and burned under the watch of Berman and Braga.

Nonsensical deux de machina device used to create a common link between the three Robotech Sagas together. The best explanation that you'll ever get from Protoculture is from the novelizations/original novels from the Brian Daley/James Luceno tandem. Obviously, being able to write without the restriction of being a half-hour show helps them out a lot. I don't think their explanation is canon, though. The story I've heard is that Southern Cross was actually cancelled and thus never had a proper ending, and so the Robotech "creators" needed another show to bring the total number of eps to the magical syndie number of 65, and thus, Mosepeda was tacked on. Anyways, "The Masters" sticks out like a sore thumb as far as the three Robotech generations go, and like Jason X I'd say to just get Southern Cross and be done with it. The other two are fine to watch in their Robotech versions.

Carrie's probably the best female on the show. Nadia's pretty good when she's on, but she's inconsistent.

Hmm, yes, I forgot to say what I meant. Again. This ep depends a lot on what we saw in Walkabout. It helps us understand a bit more about why he was the man we saw in that early ep. So, if you didn't see Walkabout, this ep might go a bit over your head...

I don't think you can judge this ep without having seen Walkabout, because it expands on some of the things we've already seen by showing Locke (with hair) during his One Hour Photo phase... ...so, I'd cop out and paraphrase Michael Bolton: "It's so hard to say... I guess I like 'em both"

Honestly? The name is just kinda there. She's got big breasts, and calling her Juggsica helps to distinguish her from the other reality show chicks with breasts that we ogle and call Juggs. Don't read anything more into it than that...

It typically does. 6 is about where the really good get separated from the good enough, although if you look back at AI3, there were maybe 2 that I'd call really good, and Jennifer Hudson was eliminated way too early.

I read Countdown over lunch, and I can say with confidence that it's worth the $1 investment, even if you hate that they seemingly piss all over the Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire Justice League. Simply put, it's a good story, and you'll enjoy it.
