You are joking right??? Morrison is the next big thing on the Roster.
-
Wouldn't it have made more sense to have them do a breakup angle at WrestleMania after losing the titles instead of on Raw?

I am personally quite sick of seeing wrestlers on the main rosters being treated like absolute "Jobbers" to the Khalis, Kane, HHH's of the world. These wrestlers include Santino, Noble, Kendrick, etc. The WWE invests so much time and money into these wrestlers that it just seems silly and counter productive to have them go out there and look like scrubs who lose in 2 minutes. I do not think that they could go out and draw millions for the WWE but I do feel that they can lead to a better overall product. I understand that the Big Wrestlers have to go over convingly against the smaller wrestlers to make them (Kane, Knox, Khali etc) look intimidating. Wouldn't it make more sense to get an indy wrestler and pay them $200 or so to go out there and lose in 2 minutes. I am not looking for even steven booking were Wrestlers trade victories each week.

This isn't a Rape of Smackdown and EcW. It's a Gang Rape of Smackdown and EcW.
-
Tonight is the Public rape of Smackdown and EcW. Big Show to Raw. Why was MVP still being shown in the graphics for the selections if he was already picked?
-
It was on the U.S. Sony Playstation site. It was taken down after 8 hours or so.

People buy new games regardless. It all comes down to gameplay. Nobody is going to buy Smackdown 2010 because it has Christian in it. The same goes for Primo and Koslov. It wouldn't hurt THQ/Yukes to make them DLC to get people to buy it for 2009.

Discuss. Harry Kalas passed away. Mark "The Bird" Fidrych passed away. Mark Fidrych, a Northborough native whose aw-shucks charm and on-the-mound antics helped make him a national phenomenon as a Detroit Tigers rookie pitcher in 1976, was killed in an accident in his hometown this afternoon while working on his pickup truck. He was 54. Fidrych, who won 19 games as a rookie before injuries derailed his career, was found dead on his 107-acre farm this afternoon, according to the office of Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. Fidrych was found by a family friend underneath his truck at about 2:30 p.m.

It is a double edged sword. People are complaining because DLC pack 2 cannot be put into LOWM. People are complaining becaused they used the Bushwackers. People are complaining because Christian, R Truth, Koslov, Primo are not in it. etc.

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread
YourKock'sReallyGreat replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, folks have always said that Vince is a little out of touch (or a few years behind) with what's considered "cool and hip". Case in point, is stuff spinning considered cool anymore? Maybe no one told Vince that rap-rock isn't the hotness anymore? I was telling a friend the other night that with Bawitdaba and Cowboy being played, I was half-expecting Lonely Road of Faith or American Badass to follow. That makes too much sense for the WWE. They should have had him perform Lonely Road of Faith with a video package behind him of the Highlights of the first 24 WM's and a package of the Wrestlers who have died. -
The driver of the other vehicle was driving with a suspended license due to a previus DWI. He also had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.

Yea, that's the problem. They haven't had a fast start since 2003 (then again that year they started like 18-3 WITHOUT Jeter, so it's kind of an anomoly) Even in 98 they started kind of slow and people were panicking. Yankees started of 98 0-3 after being swept by Seattle in the Kingdome. Torre was rumored to be on the chopping block. The Yankees didn't look back after that series though. So it really wasn't a slow start just a bad first 3 games.

This is sad. Just hours after he finished pitching six scoreless innings for the Angels last night, the 22-year-old pitcher has died. TMZ has learned Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Adenhart was killed in a felony hit-and-run car accident in Fullerton, California early this morning — hours after he pitched in a game last night. Cops say someone driving a minivan blew through a red light, causing a 2 car crash which killed 3 people, including Nick. Cops say the person driving the van fled the scene — but was later caught and charged with felony hit-and-run. We're told one of the other men killed in the crash was also affiliated with Angels organization. Nick was 22 years old. More to come, as story develops. That is so sad. This guy had his whole life in front of him just to lose it because some asshole is high on drugs or drunk. The driver of the van should be strapped to a concrete wall and a Humvee should be rammed into him. That should get people to stop drunk driving/ or driving while you are high. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nicks friends and family as well as the Angels organization.

Steamboat looked great but he got pretty winded out there. I do not think he wants to come back. How many of the Stars from the past are a little Jealous that Steamboat is given the chance to shine in the Sun one last time?

What is this movie? I have never ever heard of it. Isn't this the movie that is only going to make 12 million total? Stop fucking promoting this shitty movie.

The Orioles got payback against Jeffrey Maier and the Yankees today.

God, who would have thought that Justin Hawk managed by Dirty Dutch Mantell would last 14 years and win a bunch of championships including the WWE Heavyweight?

The OAO Wrestlemania Streams thread
YourKock'sReallyGreat replied to Jingus's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm curious how much their streaming business took a hit when they jacked it up to the same as the PPV price. I used to order all the big 5 shows and sometimes the minor shows if they had a decent card when I'd only be spending 15 on the show, but now they don't get my money at all except when I split PPVs with a friend. I do not have a clue. When someone gets the stream online it just begs for them to share it with others via Justin or wherever else. Plus when they sell a stream they are not sharing the revenue with a satellite/cable provider. I wish they could do it like a movie theater/ticket. You pay $10-15 and get to watch it for one day. The only problem is that you could share it with 20-30 others. Technology and the internet taking off has really killed ppv's in my opinion. There are too many free options for people who want to save the $55 dollars. -
The baseball season started with the Braves beating the Phillies 4-1. I look forward to the triple header on Espn. It's going to be really weird to not have Bob Barron, Marvin and Alkeiper no longer around. Is Naiwf still a member? OMG nobody cares about the start of the baseball season. I hope this increased traffic takes off because this site is dying. I have been coming to this site off and on since 2002 after finding it via Scott Keith. It's painful to see that it is becoming a ghost town.
