What did smues do to get banned?

Wasn't the rumor that Test was going to win the championship back in late 99. A Test/HHH main event feud would have been 1000 times better than Bossman/Big Show feud in November/December of 1999.

wwe.com World Wrestling Entertainment® has been made aware of the passing of Andrew Martin. The WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Martin family. Mr. Martin was under contract with WWE at various time periods and performed under the name "Test." He last performed in February 2007.

I watched the video earlier today and I liked the gameplay of the Royal Rumble. My only gripe is that every elimination seems to be the same. The guy is laying on outside part of the ring holding onto the rope and gets kicked out. I want to see people body slammed over, press slammed over, back body dropped over, etc. I want to be able to see if someone is laying on the outside holding down the ropes then someone can get irish whipped out of the ring.

All 50 shows have sold out. Tickets are going for up to 14'000 on ebay.

Are the graphics for 2k9 really that bad? I was watching videos off of Youtube and the faces look horrible and the uniforms look like they were made of plastic.

My understanding based off of cheapassgamer.com is that Gamestop released a list of games that were eligible and then cancelled some of the eligible games. This was due to a couple of the games being $10 dollars at Kmart.

I guess thats what happens when Parents force kids to get married for the sake of the baby.

Doesn't change the fact that for 20 bucks it's a huge ripoff and 15 dollars overpriced.

Game comes out in less than 2 weeks and I cannot wait. I am going to use my 20 dollar gift card from Toys R Us that I get from RE5 to buy this game. That is why I started the DLC thread. Doesn't SF IV have a bunch of alternate attires that goes for like 20 bucks total? At least GTA 4 has Dlc that comes out almost a year after the game and offers alot. The next two dlc packs for Fallout 3 seem to be pretty good as well.

IGN just posted a couple of multi player modes that is going to come out in a couple of weeks. It is going to be called versus. One has you going against up to 3 other players in a death match and the other has you going against the Zombies. People are already bitching about the DLC and the controls of stopping/shooting for deathmatch. The price is going to be $5 for the dlc.

I wish I had a cancer on my team who hits .300 slugs .600 and year in and year out hit 35 HR's and 120 RBI's. Lets also not forget that he upped his game 10fold in the playoffs all of the time. Manny is a huge reason why Papelbon has a World Series ring on his finger.

The partner's AI is OK, but there are times when she acts like a greedy bitch and decides she'd like all the ammo, which leads to having to go into the inventory and 'requesting' that you have some too. I generally use her as pack mule and give her all the health stuff, as she's pretty wise with her usage of the herbs and sprays to heal you. Sadly sometimes she'll decide she wishes to shoot a Zombie even it means shooting her bullet through you. Thankfully there is no friendly fire, though its also disappointing to some extent as it means you can't hack her to shit with the knife when she pisses you off. Well, actually you can, she won't die however, though I guess that maybe better for some people. I wish they but in a FF12 gambit like system. That way you can control what your partner does. Like they only use herbs when health is below 40 percent or below 25 percent. Or you can set up how often they use ammo, etc.

Can you please post other impressions on the game. I cannot wait for tommorow. How does the weapon upgrading work? Can you do it whenever you want?

Steve Phillips thinks Pedro deserves to be on a major league roster based off of the WBC. Someone should tell Steve that Pedro wants a 1 year major league contract and a player option for next year. The only team interested in Pedro that I know of are the Mets who offered a minor league deal.

Mike from gamingring.com has the game and has stated that there aren't any unlockable wrestlers. An article on espn.com has stated that there aren't any. I wouldn't hold my breath about unlockables. If there are it would be a nice suprise. THQ might be overprotecting things due to the roster leaking months in advance for Smackdown 2009.

You are dreaming on that one. Nothing concrete has popped up that can be used as a rumor for unlockables and various sites have mentioned that everything is unlocked from the start in terms of Wrestlers.

The Mets released Duaner Sanchez. Who knows how things would have turned out for them if Duaner didn't get into a car accident at 2 a.m. to get some food.

Gamespot.com has a dead on review of MLB The Show 2009. They loved everything about the game except for the loading times for RTTS and that the game is a little diffult for casual gamers. They ended up giving the game a 9.0. I am really loving the presentation in the game. I was playing a game between the Yankees and the Giants. Before the game started Matt V. had a half minute speech about how the teams used to be seperated by a couple of blocks in NYC and are now on opposite coasts etc. When Xavier Nady came up to bat it was mentioned that he was a local college star across the Bay. I then played a game as the Mets in the new Citi Field. After the game the pa over the speakers gave people the correct way to get home via train or highway. It is like the makers of this game thought of every single detail and put it into the game. The gameplay is so flawless and smooth and after 20 hours I have barely noticed any serious glitch. My only minor complaint so far is that there are times when the ball would be hit and the game has you take over the non logical fielder. It has happened once or twice so far where the ball would be hit to Left Centerfield and the lf would be a little bit closer but the game has you control the CF. This leads to you breaking the wrong way until you realize you are controlling the CF and have to run back to the left after breaking right.

I believe so. IGN mentioned that if your friend has played more of the game they would have better weapons etc unlocked and would make the game easier when they play with you. Also the game according to IGN is anywhere from 12-20 hours to beat. That depends if you want to race through it or collect everything and see every little detail.
