Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
humongous2002 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I've read in the PWInsider that the Matt/Lita/Edge affair and the Johnny Ace story are two separate cases and one doesn't have anything to do with the other. -
Almost as good as "Suckbag" Orton. You two have way too much free time on your hands, try getting a life instead of spending all day in your computers monitoring everything that I do.
-
Great comeback, did it take you a whole day just to come out with that? And by the way is suppose to be anyone's english.

Wrestlemania Plans over the last few months
humongous2002 replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in The WWE Folder
How the fuck can't creative come out with ideas for 2 of the most talented and over wrestlers on SD today? I guess Vince feels that hispanics would buy Mania just because is the "grandaddy of them all". Once again WWE is showing their double standards with non-WWE homegrown wrestlers. -

You just made me spit soda all over my monitor. -
Dose you know how to type in english?? I don't know why you are bringing up RVD since he is not even mentioned in any of my replies for this topic.

Cena is over enough to be the champ but he hasn't improve on his wrestling skills since 2002, to be the champ he has to either step it up a notch or the crowd will eventually realize how much he sucks as a wrestler and turn on him, Cena is not the hope of SD but for now he is the only thing the WWE is willing to push.

ROB VAN DAM DISCUSSES HIS INJURY, ECW, WWE, TRIPLE H, AND MORE by Brian Cooper @ 11:45:00 AM on 3/3/2005 Get In The Ring recap by Brian P. Cooper of www.BigVanVader.com The return of Get In The Ring with all-improved audio, features an exclusive interview with Mr. Thursday Night, Rob Van Dam. You can listen to the interview at www.GetInTheRing.tv. Check out the website for details on how to pre-order the GIR book, Mysteries Of Wrestling: Solved, available in only a few weeks. - Rob Van Dam joins Sir Adam, The Phantom and guest host David on the show. Phantom asks about Jesus' neck. Jesus says it's fine, except he has a hole in it. The surgery went well, "unless the doctor was drunk!" The surgery was on 10 January, he currently has metal plates in his neck and is expected to be out of action for 9 months. - Sir Adam asks how RVD is doing? Rob's missed out on some big events, the tour of Japan and promoting the new DVD. Phantom asks about the DVD and the match with Bam Bam Bigelow. RVD says defending the TV title in ECW was 'the favourite part of my career,' although says 'working for WWE is a great, great job,' due to the exposure and the money. - The ECW PPV is bought up. RVD says he doesn't know whether it'll be official, but doesn't feel he'll probably be ready to wrestle if so. He feels WWE don't have to bring non-contract wrestlers in, as they have a lot under contract. RVD expects to be back in 6-12 months. - Phantom asks more about RVD's knee injury which Rob goes into more depth about. Dave asks about Sabu's condition. Sabu is on the mend, although Rob hasn't spoken to him in a month. He had a 'near-death experience' at the hospital. - Rob is asked if Smackdown is like an ECW TV show in that it is taped and edited. Rob works for the crowd and if he slips on the rope then he lets the live crowd down. - Adam asks about the perception of Smackdown being the 'B' show and if it makes him angry? RVD replies that 'it takes a lot more than that to make me angry!' If people prefer Raw, than that is fine. RVD calls Raw 'the Triple H show.' The numbers aren't too different between the two shows and it is just a perception. - Phantom asks about HHH and Raw being the Triple H show. RVD says 'I get bored quick with storylines anyway, and when it seems like one never-ending storyline, I'll try and run as far away from it as possible.' RVD also says why he doesn't get more mike time in WWE. - Dave asks is RVD watched No Way Out and his opinion on the diva segments. RVD was fortunate enough not to watch the PPV and over the years has seen 'a lot of females taking up time, space and money that really had no position at all, because they're horrible.' - Adam asks about the recent Eddie Guerrero interview where he talked about the pressures of being champion. RVD feels he could deal with it, but in the WWE, 'I've ever been one to be responsible for filling up the house, at least I've never felt like I've gotten credit for that.' In ECW he could run with the ball but feels that 'I haven't seen the ball in the last few years.' - Rob recommends the ECW DVD, although there wasn't enough of him on there. He planned on 'staying at ECW for life.' Phantom asks about Paul Heyman. RVD says that ECW was his baby and he could run it into the ground if he wanted to do so. - Adam asks about the frustrations of not being pushed in the WWE. Most frustrations are because of the schedule, but other frustrations are there. The DVD hit the number one spot in the sports section even though the WWE haven't marketed it well. RVD says he is 'under-pushed, under-used, but still over-appreciated.' He wanted it to 'beat the hell out of the Ric Flair DVD.' - When asked about his 'refusal' to go to Iraq, RVD feels it is 'blown out of proportion' and it was more a 'disinterest.' The week of the tour was supposed to be a week off for the wrestlers. - RVD pushes his seminar with Dory Funk Jr. on 27 March, talks about his WCW stint as Robbie V, compares comics with The Phantom before telling his real thoughts of Shane McMahon doing the Van-Terminator. - Listen to the exclusive interview with RVD at GET IN THE RING Credit: Pwinsider.com

It's not my fault that you are easier to please and I'm not, Cena and JBL totally bombed IMHO.
-
What does a movie spoof have to do with being champions? The fact that they don't have any acting talent whatsoever and JBL is the most uncharismatic WWE champion in the ring, backstage, and now in a movie spoof.
-
Why? Because he sounded like a complete idiot?
-
"A Few Good Men " spoof was unfunny and painful to watch, I can't believe WWE management counts on these 2 untalented bags of crap to actually carry SD as champions.
-
All the "Diva" skanks look the same too me, can't even tell them apart.

Could Van Dam be a viable WWE main eventer?
humongous2002 replied to Superfly Snuka's topic in The WWE Folder
For some reason, that sounds like a fact you just made up. On a roster filled with some of the guys Smackdown has, I doubt people are leaving for a piss break during Van Dam's stuff. I thought about the same thing, not for nothing but I see more people taking a piss break on a JBL match or a Jindrak match than a RVD match. -

Whoever says that RVD is not a viable main eventer just check his dvd to see how over he could get if he is being push properly. -

humongous2002 replied to Superfly Snuka's topic in The WWE Folder
The sad thing is WWE will drop the ball on RVD again just because of politics. -
I thought about that too since they know each other back when the Hardyz had their own little federation.

BEST SELLING WWE DVDS: ROB VAN DAM'S DVD SELLS HUGE IN FIRST WEEK; ECW, ANDRE THE GIANT STILL SELLING STRONG by Mike Johnson @ 3:00:00 PM on 2/23/2005 WWE's newest DVD Rob Van Dam: One of A Kind moved 7,547 copies in its first official week of release on the retail market. The total moved is 7,711 if you include copies that were sold before the title's official street date. The title sold 3,469 copies via Internet retailers and 2,588 via major retailers (FYE, Best Buy, etc.) The remaining copies were sold via smaller outlets. While RVD is the Whole Fn' DVD this week, The Rise and Fall of ECW moved another 2,370 copies. That brings the title up to 102, 263 sold since its initial release last year. It will be interesting to chart the continued movement of the title now that the Rob Van Dam DVD is available and basically appeals to the same audience. The legendary Andre the Giant is also showing staying power in his second week on the Videoscan charts, moving 2,333 copies on his discounted ($6.99-$9.99) title. The complete top ten sales for the last week: *Rob Van Dam: One of A Kind -- 7,547 copies *The Rise and Fall of ECW -- 2,370 copies *Andre the Giant: Larger Than Life -- 2,333 copies *Best of the WWE Intercontinental Championship -- 1,281 copies *Wrestlemania XX -- 727 copies *Survivor Series 2004 -- 675 copies *Armaggedon 2004 -- 658 copies *History of Wrestlemania -- 548 copies *Taboo Tuesday -- 468 copies *Shawn Michaels: The Boyhood Dream --448 copies Credit:PWInsider.com

Could Van Dam be a viable WWE main eventer?
humongous2002 replied to Superfly Snuka's topic in The WWE Folder
RVD is a good example of a wrestler with a shitty character, he might be a pot smoker but WWE has made him into a dopey hippie, just imagine if WWF decided to keep Austin as the Ringmaster or The Rock as the ultimate babyface Rocky Maivia. -
I find it more shocking that RVD's dvd has done so well without any promotion at all.
-
Rob Van Dam: One of A Kind moved another 4,098 copies in its first official week of release on the retail market. The total moved is 11,809 which is an amazing number for two weeks on the market. What's tremendous about the sales is that with RVD out of action, there has been no real marketing for the DVD set at all, so once again, fans are showing WWE what they want by purchasing what they see as a quality item, despite whether WWE is marketing it strongly or not. RVD TALKS ABOUT HIS INJURY AND HOW HE WILL MISS THE ECW PPV, COMPARES RAW TO SMACKDOWN, TALKS ABOUT NOT GOING TO IRAQ, LESNAR, AND MORE by James Walsh @ 10:17:00 AM on 2/22/2005 Show: The Interactive Interview (Courtesy of www.WrestlingEpicenter.com) Guest: "Mr. Thursday Night" Rob Van Dam Date: February 22, 2005 Your Hosts: Erik Clancy & James Walsh Recap By: Erik Clancy & James Walsh He's the "Whole Fn' Show." He's been called "Mr. PPV," Mr. Monday Night," and "Mr. Thursday Night." His name is synonymous with 4:20. And, for the first time since 2003, Rob joins The Interactive Interview again! Fresh off our critically acclaimed "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan & Nikolai Volkoff interviews which are still available for audio download on the web site, the one and only, or perhaps I should say "One of a Kind," Rob Van Dam joined us over the weekend for an interview that will air on the live radio broadcast on KASC "The Blaze" 1260 AM in Mesa/Phoenix/Tempe, Arizona. But, don't feel left out! You can catch the Internet broadcast right now from www.WrestlingEpicenter.com! We cover all the important bases with Rob in a topical interview as compared to our 46 minute interview with him conducted in 2003. You can listen to that interview as well by going to www.WrestlingEpicenter.com. But, in THIS edition, we cover everything from his injury status, the upcoming ECW PPV, the Brock Lesnar lawsuit, Wrestlemania, Smackdown/RAW, and so much more! To listen to this show in streaming media, visit RVD interview. To download this show direct to your desktop, visit http://www.wrestlingepicenter.com/shows/RVD/2rvd.rm. ROB VAN DAM -- The show opens with "One of a Kind" playing and the Rob Van Dam promo he cut for us way back in October of 2003. -- Erik introduces Rob Van Dam who is now with us. The first question Erik asks is, "How are you holding up." Rob gives the short answer of "I'm holding up, I'm holding up!" -- Erik then asks Rob how his knee injury is progressing as most fans have missed RVD from TV and want an update. Rob says that he got surgery three weeks ago and that's been the major thing on his mind. So right now he's doing a lot of therapy and physical rehab which will take a long time because they had to do a lot of work in there. -- RVD says he had a torn ACL and a torn meniscus. He had those injuries for quite some time yet he was working through the pain. He was trying to put off surgery or avoid it all together if that was an option. The last couple of years though, his knee has been bothering him with a few breaks here and there. -- As far as what actually happened with his injury, he was in Chicago on January 6th. He was in the ring and on a simple landing the torn meniscus folded into his kneecap and it just locked out on him. So, he had no choice but to get the surgery. -- James then mentions Rob was on a year ago. At that time, Rob was a World Tag Team Champion with Booker T on RAW and since then he has moved to SmackDown. James asks what the backstage climate of SmackDown is like compared to RAW and which he prefers. Rob says that some of the major differences are that on SmackDown there are a lot of younger guys -- Not necessarily younger in age, that are still trying to find their niche and their place in the company. He says that on SmackDown, there are more guys willing to work and be open as opposed to RAW. -- Rob says he prefers SmackDown now but originally he was more set towards RAW because he enjoyed the live TV aspect of it. He really likes SmackDown because it's not the same type of game, to which he follows up, "and when I say game, I do mean game!" -- Erik then talks about how RVD was the first big name that Brock Lesnar defeated during his ascension to the World Title. Erik then asks what Rob thinks of Brock's departure from the company and his decision to try to get back in the business now. Rob says he was surprised when Brock quit the company but says that Brock is a freak of nature with an incredible amount of athletic ability. Rob also says that he wouldn't be surprised to see Lesnar make it in football even though he hasn't already and everyone knows RVD isn't one to tell people they can't do things. Rob also says that Lesnar could come back to the WWE because everyone comes back whether you've sued them or talked trash, it's all about business. -- James then brings up the subject everyone wants to ask RVD about. In June, the WWE will be running the ECW pay-per-view "One Night Stand." James asks Rob if he will be physically able to be active on that event. Rob replies with one word, "negative." Rob states he will be able to attend the event but will not be able to wrestle. -- James also asks whether or not an ECW event run under the WWE banner could be a success. Rob says without him, it will be tough to replicate that old ECW energy but still thinks they'll have a hell of a show and possibly turn it into an annual pay-per-view. Rob says that a month ago when he was talking to people about it he was led to believe that it was going to be very authentic ECW and not the WWE version of ECW. -- Rob says it breaks his heart that he can't compete at the event. -- Erik then points out that RVD was one of the most over guys in ECW's history but in WWE, despite what the fans want, he has been kept away from that main event status. Erik asks Rob if he is happy with his position in WWE. Rob says that he's not as happy as he could be but he thinks he's well adjusted. Rob is by no means unhappy. -- James mentions Internet reports stating that Rob "refused" to go to Iraq for Christmas in Iraq in December. Rob responds with the fact that refused is not the choice of word to use in this situation. He opted not to go because for one, he had no desire to visit that part of the world, but also because he had been on the road 51 weeks out of the year and was looking forward to spending an extra week for Christmas and his birthday with his family. When it became a voluntary choice and he had heard that the area may not have been as safe as they had previously been told it became a no brainer for him. -- Rob is then asked if he will be involved in an outside role at WrestleMania 21. RVD says he has no idea but he will likely be at the building. -- We head to word associations which Rob reminds us he hates doing. James says he knows but will never learn. Triple H, Vince McMahon, and The Undertaker are covered in this abbreviated version due to time issues. This is an interview you can't afford to miss! -- The recap segment, designed for the Internet broadcast, covers the No Way Out pay per view as well as the recent goings on in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling! ***** Starting as soon as next Tuesday night, we will have a live link so YOU can listen to TII LIVE online. All interviews will continue to be archived on the Internet but tune in and find out how you can walk away with free prizes, play trivia, and even join us live on the air! We will have a chat room set up that Erik and James will both be looking at during the show. That chat room will require you registering, FOR FREE, for our forums! All of this is to incorperate The Interactive Interview's Internet following with our brand new LIVE radio deal in Mesa/Phoenix/Tempe, Arizona on KASC "The Blaze" 1260 AM every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. WWE should just wait till RVD returns if they want to make money out of the ECW ppv, or just have JBL main event on that night because: He's hardcore!!! He's hardcore!!! He's hardcore!!!
-
And they can't even do that right.
