I'll be covering women's basketball and softball next semester for the paper......I wonder if this athletes banging reporters things goes the other way.

Rhett Bomar had the same prima donna attitude. He thought he should've walked into OU last year as a freshman and should've been given the starting job over Jason White. Hell one of my friends plays softball and she overheard Bomar at lunch one time talking about how much better he was than White and about how he should be the starter and shouldn't have to redshirt. His father even called in to the local radio one time and bitched about how White had deprived his boy of an opportunity. That's why I want Paul Thompson to start so badly(that and I think he's better than Bomar) and I hope to god that Thompson is the starter this season.

I didn't really get to see LSU much last season so apparently Broussard was really good.....wasn't he? Did he start the season as the starter last year?

Well he didn't exactly eat the healthiest thing on the menu and watch his calories like they do did he? So how is what they're doing related to this at all?

Ok so this is an older book and it's probably been discussed ad nasuem but I'm just getting around to reading it and I haven't heard much discussion on it. The Da Vinci Code......how credible is anything mentioned in it? Are these like real academic theories or is it just fiction? Because I know the book is a fictional work but he just presents it like it's true and it would seem some of it could be true. Like the stuff about the Roman Emperor that created the bible and edited which gospels would appear and about all the religous symbology that has been changed. Because honestly if everything this book says is true then going to church and believing in god seems useless. So really is it all fiction or is some of it based in fact?

I don't know about Charles Woodson but I know Jason White was statistically better than Eli Manning and I honestly don't think OU would've been undefeated going up against KSU that year if they didn't have White. They probably would've lost to Alabama and possibly Texas(White was the driving force in that game).

So wait I just found this out today. TO's current contract was negotiated by his old agent? So Rosenhaus isn't getting squat off of TO's current contract.....this just makes him a bigger slimeball. And this "I need to take care of my family!" stuff is just bullshit. If you can't raise a family off of even 100,000 a year then you spend too much.

The Heisman Trophy should have nothing to do with your NFL career or if you have an NFL career. It should have to do with your accomplishments in college. Period.

I'm pretty sure that he saw the writing on the wall and knew he was about to get cut so decided to save himself the humiliation and just blame it on his bum knees. He said that practicing everyday was the problem yeah well he practiced everyday at OU last season and claimed to feel fine the entire season. During the draft Coach Stoops told him that he always has a place on his coaching staff for Jason just like Josh Heupel. If the man can't physically make it then he can't make it. It makes me wonder how much his knees were bothering him last season even though he claimed to be fine. And how the hell was he able to throw for as many yards and TDs, win as many games, and win as many awards in just 2 years with bum knees? And on top of that he was a freaking option QB before the knee injuries. This guy baffles me. He has this ability to bounce back. So that's why I'm positive he'll be a great coach at OU.

Yeah poor Michael Hart. He had Freshman phenom written all over him as did Chad Henne but they came on the scene the same year as Adrian Peterson. Course I was looking at this college football message board and according to the Michigan fans there AD can't hold Hart's jock.

It's possible but he is working with a rebuilt offensive line and the focus will be on him. He'll see 8 men in the box a lot this season. But 71% of his nearly 2,000 yards last season were after contact.

If they beat OU they should go all the way. I'm not sold on Texas A&M yet. And I'm definitely not sold on this notion that Texas A&M could upset OU in Norman. First of all OU has lost 1 home game in 6 years. 2nd of all in all of A&M's trips to Norman in the Bob Stoops era they've been outscored 159-16. Now in College Station they've kept it close with the score being 103-96 including beating a powerful OU team that won the Rose Bowl in 2002. But they aren't in College Station this year. That's why I don't buy into the A&M in Norman hype.
