The thing is in the formula. The formula doesn't say: +10 Big XII The computer formula isn't skewed towards the Big XII.

I just thought of something. This game is going to have Antonio Perkins vs. Reggie Bush on punt returns. Bush has 2 on the season and Perkins has tied the record for most returns in a career. Bush will probably have the record when he graduates which makes this an even more exciting match up.

Then it's because the voters are swinging votes in favor of the Big XII.

Yeah but the computer doesn't favor the Big XII. It's a computer. It can't say "I like Big XII teams better" if you're complaining about a Big XII bias then it's the voters.

This season? Try every season.

This really does suck. Like I said I want to stick up for my conference and see them all succeed but not like this. Cal is clearly a better team than Texas and I want to know what games the coaches are watching. This is probably a case of "I only remember what I saw 5 minutes ago!" Stupid voters. I guess they forgot that Texas got shut out by OU at a neutral site and then almost lost to Kansas! Meanwhile Cal was throwing for the end zone for the win at USC.

Well we'll know for sure in 3 hours or so.

Well blame the god damn voters. I think it's funny that people go nuts over the computers putting down a screw job when the voters have been the ones to keep Auburn and Cal out this year.

That was the projection that Brad Edwards made on ESPN.com. He says he isn't moving Texas above Cal but he thinks that it's still going to happen. Remember only 4 people have to change their vote. And you know Mack Brown was on the phone campaigning last night. I heard he promised health care and social security reform if they send him to the Rose Bowl. I was actually thinking last night that it'd be funny if USC, Auburn, and Cal all lost so that Texas could get their ass whipped by OU again.

Have you noticed that nobody has been able to run the ball against OU? Cedric Benson and Vernand Morency who are both comparable in skill to Bush(well at least Benson is) were stopped dead. Leinart has to pass deep to win since that's where OU's big weakness is. However they do have Perkins back who was absent when they looked vunerable to the deep ball in those two games. But Leinart's going to have to win this game. I don't think Bush will get much on returns b/c OU was all over that dude from Colorado as soon as he touched the ball last night. OU basically out ran the kick off and I think they'll probably do that and be in Bush's face as soon as he touches the ball. He may be able to juke one but 4 of them in a line in front of him? He'll get stuffed. Also that Offensive line for USC has to stand up and play better b/c OU leads the Big XII in sacks this season and Dan Cody will want to get his hands on Leinart. That being said OU's offensive line has gotta work on picking up the blitz better. They showed against Baylor they were vunerable to it until they pick up on it. So if USC can blitz early they may be able to rattle White early if they just hit him repeatedly. Then again Baylor hit White repeatedly and he wasn't rattled but USC still has a chance to do that. I think both teams will load up to stop the run so it's going to have to be the secondary that performs. And both teams have shown(USC did against UCLA) that their secondary is vunerable. Also both of these teams have shown that they are second half teams. Both have staged there comeback and had their best performances in the second half of most games. Although OU didn't come out of the gates slow against Colorado b/c they were so fired up. So they may be crazy against USC. I dunno. I think both teams would have problems with Auburn based off the fact that both teams are second half teams and Auburn jumps on you so early.

White was unspectacular? Dude threw for 200 yards and 3 TD's! And if you're going to hold the 2 INT's against him then you didn't watch the game. The announcers were going on about that. Both were on target and would've hit the reciever easily but.....HE FELL DOWN! I wish there were a way to not credit the INT to him since they weren't his fault. He threw them on target to the reciever. Not his fault the field was crappy. I saw a lot of guys fall down from both teams last night. White did make the stop on his second (not)INT. Anyways what's the comparison on White and Leinarts stats now? White's may be better now. Oh and Secret Agent. White CAN vote for himself but he has stated the he is not that kind of person and WILL NOT vote for himself.

Yes Bush had a big day but for some reason I feel that if anybody from USC gets it then it's going to be Leinart. I dunno why I don't see Bush getting it. He deserves it more than Leinart but I just can't see them giving it to Bush over Leinart. I dunno if Peterson will repeat this without the offensive line....but he'll get damn close. A lot of it is the line and a lot of it is him. Then again anybody needs a halfway decent line to put up huge numbers. And OU's line will be decent next season....just not manhandling like it is this year.

I'm still thinking about that run where Peterson broke like 5 or 6 tackles. The guy is so awesome b/c if he can't outrun he just runs straight at you and knocks you over. Remember the Red River shootout where he dove over like 3 guys for 10 more yards? Or where he just ran straight into the safety and took him down to? The guy is pure power.

Cal is the #4 team in the country, I'd say beating them is impressive enough. And if Cal gets the Rose Bowl nod, USC has beaten 2 BCS teams. Unfortunately it looks like Cal may be squeezed which is complete BS.

Started the season ranked #1 or #2? That seems to be the main difference between all 3 teams.

Not so fast my friend! 400 posts! Someone start a count! Anyways this is going to be a wild game. OU's defense is finally alive and the offense has always been alive. The Heisman curse may factor into this one though......so...Leinart for Heisman! Then he can pass for 132 yards and 4 picks!

So now who wins it? I think White's stats just got better than Leinart's and Peterson is the leading rusher in the country now isn't he?

My how quickly they change their tune on College Gameday. Going into today most all believed OU should be left out. Leaving tonight Trev Alberts is the only one that doesn't believe that OU should be left out. One thing is true....this is going to be a great game!
