Yes well they also gave up those points when they were missing there best secondary player(Antonio Perkins) and had Eric Bassey(who sucks) in there. Stoops sent that Walker kid in during the A&M game and the defense was better. Perkins came back and surprise they've given up 6 points in 3 games. Hmmm...... On top of that OU's offense is better than Cal and ASU's. So I dont' think USC will be holding them to 17.

I'm trying to figure out who's going to be favored in this game. I mean probably SC but I doubt it'd be by much.

I love Superman. Then again I haven't read much Superman with him away from the JLA. But I did buy that huge Return of Superman Graphic Novel so that should help.

Them losing this one won't fuck with me that much b/c they at least won the conference this year.....unlike last year. So I'd be able to live with a loss.....as long as it's not a blowout. Which won't happen anyways.

Well I did. But you know mine's not like a shocker. I think OU will win. But I don't think they'll handle USC but I think they'll win by a TD.

No they were #1. They were #2 when they played #1 Nebraska and they beat Nebraska.

Actually, IIRC, OU was undefeated and ranked number 2 that year. How's that for screwed up? Actually in 2000 OU was undefeated and ranked #1.

Well it has some appeal in that it's the first Texas/Michigan match. And well the Texas fans travel well. But that's it.

Jason White was the front runner in most polls since the K-State game and only really dropped out of the top after Leinart lit ND up. But after this week it looks like he's back in it. And it almost looks like voters are actually paying attention to the games and realizing two of those INTs aren't his fault.

So why are you picking White over Leinart? I mean I personally think he's been more impressive but my view is skewed.

I would've said Leinart but after he had a less than stellar performance against UCLA and only 10% of the votes were in I wouldn't bet on it to much. I bet those 10% were west coast voters anyways.

How'd you feel if Oklahoma got left out with an undefeated record and I responded with "Oh well, Oklahoma wasn't supposed to be there, I guess" and covered my ears? That's exactly what everyone would do! That's what I'm saying. You guys are up in arms that Auburn isn't in the game but would be just fine if OU wasn't. Fact is that the pollsters who everyone swore by last year have decided that these are the two teams that should play and that's what is going to happen. As for the game. Of course I think OU will win. But it'll be a good one.

Everyone said the pollsters were right and the computers were crappy. Well this year everything's crappy apparently! Oh and KSU wasn't really lowly. They were ranked 12 and only lost 3 games b/c of there QB was injured! Where's Slayer to defend his boys?

Keep switching your stance, Dama. Well everyone took the polls as gospel last year! People said "Well USC and LSU are ranked 1 and 2 they should play!" This year OU and USC are ranked 1 and 2. So going by the bitching from last year it produced the right game.

You know people say they won't complain about it if they had the +1 system but I knew there would be controversy over #4. If we had the +1 system then it'd be OU vs. Auburn And USC vs. TEXAS. People would be going nuts that Cal wasn't involved in this. There will always be controversy. Anyways back to the Orange Bowl!!!!!

Yes but the correct national champion was crowned in 2000 b/c OU was the only undefeated team. They got at least one team right in the National Title game and like it or not they were the only undefeated team and deserved the title.

The voters had OU and USC 1 and 2. The Computers matched up the same teams. How did it not produce the right match!? What was the right match!?

How did Washington get fucked over? I thought Miami was the team that got screwed that year.
