If I was Notre Dame's AD, the first call I'd make would be to Bob Stoops. Sure, he could sit comfortable down in Norman and contend for national titles year after year, but turning around Notre Dame and leading them to a national title would make him a legend. Meyer probably would've been fourth or so on my call list. He's already a legend here for turning Oklahoma around and leading them to a National Title. I think it'd really take a lot to woo Stoops from Oklahoma, as the people here worship the ground he walks on, and treat him like a hollywood celebrity. Where else can you get that? But you know he's pretty down to earth. If you go to Campus Corner around lunch time he's down there eating. He goes out to eat in Norman at night on Campus corner. You can see the guy around town and he's supposed to be pretty nice.

Not to mention it's in his contract that he gets a 100,000 dollar raise every year he's in Norman......AND he's never actually gotten that 100,000 dollar raise b/c it's always bigger than 100,000! Last year he got 250,000! The guy is getting filthy rich and winning 10 games a year and competing for National Titles every year in Norman. He's got a good deal and ND would have to make one hell of an offer.

Well my dynasty is going great. I just won a 21-17 thriller at Tennessee. That strange loss to Washington is my only blemish but it's hurting me.

I wouldn't really say GT blew through OSU when they won by 2 points and even then it was a coaching brain fart by throwing John Lucas on defense when he couldn't defend anyone all night. And I maintain that the Big XII is 3rd best right now. Based off of having Kansas and OSU and probably sending 6 tourney teams this year(hell maybe 7).

Well I do have ideas to make Sports Games more SIM like......and well a little more roleplaying like as in you take on the role of the General Manager or Owner and do EVERYTHING they have to do.....like fire drunken players and then tell advertisers off.

HUGE difference though, Pete Carroll only had to recruit a better caliber of player that they were already searching for (pro-style conventional offensive and defensive players ) and its also easier to convert a team that was running shitty conventional schemes into one that actually works. As was pointed out several times Willingham had to change the type of players he recruits you are simply not gonna win with option players running the West Coast Offense, quite simply he deserved two more years. Ok well then what about Bob Stoops? OU was traditionally an option oriented offense. Stoops went with the balanced offense and won the title in his second year. He didn't have a chance to get a full recruiting class. Hell he did it with mostly players he didn't recruit. And OU was shit in the 90's so it's not like he had 5-star players waiting for him. I'm not saying he'd do what Stoops and Carrol did but I mean he should've had better seasons than what he did have the previous 2 years. I mean has Carrol ever not won 9-10 games? I know Stoops went like 9-5 his first year and has won 10 games every season since. So if Willingham really was that good of a coach he should've had 8-10 win seasons. Not a losing season. And not 30 point blowouts.

You didn't really say what you were looking for in an RPG, so it's fair to ask (albeit I did it in a backhanded way) what you're looking for a newer RPG. You didn't really give anyone anything to go on other than examples of other titles you liked. Should we assume recommendations should be limited to "traditional" RPGs or not? No it's just that anytime anybody mentions a traditional turn based RPG you go into a rant b/c you don't like them. And I don't want to hear it. I know how you feel. Good for you.

Here's one for me. I was a huge 49ers fan as a kid b/c well that was what my mom did to me since I was a baby. Dressed me in 49ers garb and I just naturally grew to like them. I still hold a soft spot in my heart for the 49ers and quietly root for them against everyone in hopes that they make it to the top again one day. Now I was young and stupid and liked the 49ers. There's nothing stupid about that right? No of course not. But because I was young I did something stupid. With my 49ers unavailable I rooted for the Bills in all 4 of their Super Bowls.....not only that but I talked trash to the Cowboys fans at school and made 5 dollar bets(that's a lot when you're in the 6th grade!) that the Bills were going to whip some major ass. So young.....so foolish.

Andrew you don't like what I like it's that simple. Stop preaching to me. I don't find them boring or stale. I enjoy them. Get over it and don't come in preaching.
