Well listening to you guys you'd think OU was the worst team in the country! I get ridiculed for being a fan of my team. It's absurd. Just because you guys don't like OU doesn't mean they suck and that nobody else can like them. I'm sorry but they are actually an elite college football team and one of the best in the country. Like it or not it's true.

The conference is tough for the other teams in the conference because they spend the whole season beating on one another. Nobody can really dominate the conference unless they're an elite college football team. Which OU is and that's why they dominate the conference. The conference is weaker than it should be but it's still tough to play in.

If they lose to Texas then they aren't as good as I thought they were. But I doubt they'll lose to Texas. Mack Brown doesn't have the mind to beat Bob Stoops. He's proved it for the past 4 years. They don't play anybody worth a damn? At least they don't play in the weakest conference in College Football(the Pac 10). I'm not saying they should be #1 over USC right now. USC earned it by being National Champs last year. But if USC were to lose a game then OU should rightfully be #1. And I think USC should lose some first place votes. Not saying they should drop out of first place. But they should lose some votes. I'm just going off the fact that they lost 1 vote after the VA Tech game. And by the way most of you know this but my name IS JR.

How do you figure that? They lost in NoCal last year. But they've had two very close scares. And I think they'll lose to Cal again.

I just meant it seems like they get down on purpose. They seem to have trouble finding the end zone at the beginning of the game so teams go up on them and then they're like "Oh hey! Let's score!" and start throwing TD's like mad. It just seems like they walk around for the beginning of the game with no clue how to do anything at all.

Oh and while the Big XII is being talked about. What the hell is up with Texas Tech? That's two huge come from behind victories now!

I can't help it that my team is really good. Besides USC should lose some first place votes for that! I mean they lost them for the VA Tech game and they put on a better showing there. Why wouldn't they lose them here? And if they did lose that game the fact is that my team WOULD have moved into first place. And Flyboy. You hate OU for whatever reason.....you've basically said it before. So your opinion on them isn't really valid since you just want them to lose all the time for whatever reason.

Man a lot of people(including my own parents) picked the Vikings. At least I stuck by my boys and it paid off.

Though I would feel better about it if KSU had a better squad. But even if there squad isn't as good as last year Bill Snyder knows the in's and out's of the OU program which always makes his team a challenge.

Nope. No way Miami deserves to be above OU. OU's ranked #2 nationally for a good reason. They have one of the best offenses in the country and a great defense. There's no reason they shouldn't go undefeated and they've backed it up on the field. Miami's offense seems to have a little bit of trouble(the FSU game as an example)until fully pressured.
