I was just wondering if anyone ever missed the boat or there chance to play in a major sport? You know...you quit or you didn't ever have the fair shake? I'll tell you my story. Since I was a kid I wanted to play football. My family never had the monetary means to get me into the Pee-Wee games. So I got to Junior High. I joined the team. I practiced all summer then the fees came....and my parents couldn't pay them. I couldn't play football. High School rolled around. My Junior year my parents finally had the money. Only problem was that I had a job and was to busy with school and work to play football. Plus I'd never actually gotten to play...so I didn't have the experience to run out on the field and play in High School. Now I'm in College. I still wish I could play football. But college sports is an elite thing...if you don't have the experience you can't play. I've always been big enough and I've always been asked if I was a Defensive Lineman. But I have to say no. Now I wish I could play more than anything. But nobody walks onto a top ranked college football team, especially a national championship caliber team like OU and even makes the practice squad. I guess I could always go down to the park with about 10 friends and play a few games but you know....it's just not the same. So.....did anyone else miss there chance? I've just watched Rudy and it reminded me of my own football woes and how much I wish I could still play. Anyone else missed the boat in ANY sport? Anyone just wanted to get out there and give it a go? But your chance is gone?

I think I'll probably pick up NCAA 2004 and then get ESPN a little later. Can someone give me some of the more specific strong and weak points of NCAA?

I have a PS2, X-Box, and Gamecube. I don't have X-Box Live but I may be getting it soon. Reading the reviews EA NCAA 2004 looks pretty sweet...to bad about not having the players names though...but does it actually have the real players in it? Argh....ESPN is fun.....but I really want an NCAA game....and EA NCAA 2004 seems like the best choice...unless there's a better college football game?

Blue-Grey game? It's basically the all-star game for seniors where they get one last shot to make an impression on NFL scouts before the draft. It's not looking to good. I don't see any Sooners out there(remembers that most of the team is coming back) oh yeah....but it's got some stupid rules. No blitzing? Why?

I seem to be hearing this a lot. I really enjoyed what I was playing of it. I like a game where I can take a team from the bottom and build them through the whole season to make them a champion. I love that. I want to be the Bill Parcells of the video game world...or something. So they don't have the players names in the NCAA game do they? Isn't it illegal?

That's actually what I look for in a girlfriend rather than sex. Anyone can get meaningless sex with someone...you don't need a girlfriend for that.

Just be grateful. I have a friend that didn't get anything for christmas. His roomates are to poor and his mom hates him. I didn't get everything I wanted but I'm happy.

I can't decide what football game to buy tomorrow. All I have is Sega NFL 2K2 so I've decided to move forward. However I can't decide what I want! I want a college football game real bad but if I can find an NFL game that's 10x better than any college game I want that. I like realism and lots of options and such to make it more realistic. I like the announcers and injury reports and trades and a more complicated play setting system and plenty of buttons and options to do whenever I have the ball. So I heard Madden is the best one. But then I played ESPN 2K4 at my friends house the other night and it was awesome. So I don't know which one is better. Then there's an NCAA game. I don't know which one of those is the best and if they're better than the NFL ones. Someone help me.

Did anyone get any dissapointed gift recievers? I hate that. My parents felt bad. I kept telling them not to. They gave me some good gifts but I spent about 120 bucks on them(they still spent more on me) and they were happy with what they got but they felt bad saying they didn't get me enough and my mom started crying. I told her not to but she wouldn't stop. I felt really bad. I was happy with what I got and I expressed my gratitude but they were just upset that they didn't have enough money. My dad retired a few years back and he shouldn't have because now we don't have enough money and he has to go get a job.
