  1. I almost feel like I should put spoiler tags on this review but that would be weird. From the Onion:
  2. You have attracted the negative attention of Chuck Norris. You may have to be educated with a viewing of "Lone Wolf McQuade".
  3. The drums in this version sound WAY different. It sounds like it they are a lot cleaner in this version. There are also more layers of guitar compared to the big leak version. Axl must have nailed the vocal track early because I have heard few changes through the versions of "Better" I have heard.
  4. IIRC Queens Boulevard still hasn't been seen so I'm guessing that might redeem him after Smoke Jumpers goes to complete shit.
  5. Why does everyone hate you?
  6. They are certainly capable of it even if it isn't the entire truth.
  7. Well you saved ME from having to say it.
  8. I remember once "Leaping" Lanny Poffo called me and tried to sign me up for a VISA card. It was awesome. No mistaking that voice.
  9. "Bob Barron" can be rearranged, albeit minutely, to say "Bob Barr? NO!" I guess with Obama, at least I'm confident that he won't surround himself with complete buffoons. I suppose I'm kinda end-phase-Kubler-Rossing here, but at least marginally brighter people will run the place for a little while, even if I'm opposed to what a lot of them believe. I can resist no longer. Good luck fixing up the joint, and make sure to cheer 'em on real hard, you little shits. I'll give you credit Czech. At least you aren't jumping around crying about how Obama is going to give all of our money to the blacks. Not that you needed it, but doesn't my endorsement still feel kind of good?
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RwoFcLgxA0 Bush pardons himself?
  11. It has been a good play on their part to keep him off the radar.
  12. Come on Marvin... The ONLY qualification anyone needs to run for any office is being a citizen. Sure one might have a better education or life experience to parade around during an election, but really what other job in civilian life is akin to that of an elected official? You could run for office if you wished and if you won you'd learn on the job just like everybody else.
  13. Holy buckets of GAY! My fucking eyes and ears hate me right now for clicking that link.
  14. "Hrumph... Fuckin' Terrorists!"
  15. I agree with this post. As somebody who didn't see the PPV live, I found the Taker/Mankind match a little boring by the time I got to see it, because I already knew the big bumps were coming. On the other hand, I've come to appreciate HBK/Taker over the years when for the longest time I felt it was overrated. I'm with both of you up to a certain point. Taker/Mankind probably will not hold up for many who may not have seen it live. Having seen it live it is burned into my memory as one of the most wild roller coaster rides I've ever had just watching tv. I thought Foley had fucking died in front of my eyes. After having watched wrestling for so many years prior with jaded eyes, this brought me back in ways I hadn't even thought possible. Nowadays when I see it on DVD it comes across as more of a scene from a movie. Still high in drama but not quite a match. I never saw HBK/Taker live so it never had quite the same impact on me. Still a very awesome match.
  16. Wow. This actually hurt my feelings. It confims all too much of what I have always suspected about "Conservatives". I'm almost sorry to be right in my opinion about them. Maybe I'm over reacting but that sucked to watch.
  17. Probably because most people aren't that retarded. I'll take that bet... ...on the retarded part that is.
  18. Yeah, seriously. I don't like Marvin and I still think he's starting to get a raw deal here. The way I see it, Marvin and NoCalMike are mirror images: they try to inform themselves, but their fundamental problem is that they're both stupid. They both repost long rambling articles that nobody reads, they scatter punctuation and spelling errors like birdshot, and they both maintain tinfoil headwear. They try hard and mean well, but they aren't very bright. Then there's bps21, who is a human blown fuse box. Let's share our special brand of love a little better here. I hope you feel better about yourself now.
  19. Changing up on Israel might be a nice move too.
  20. Jerk, I am completely with you that hope and the high road are attractive places to be and be going. I just think people need a knock out punch here and I don't think they will care that much WHERE the punch lands (even if it's low).
  21. The problem with this is that Palin is self-destructing on her own without Obama needing to pour salt on the wounds. Plus, both guys picked running mates who typify qualities that they have criticized the other for, as Biden has been in Congress a full decade longer than McCain. Why draw attention to that by calling him out on Palin? Whether its politically expedient or not, that's just a tacky thing to say. Oh please. Republicans have been hanging themselves with their own words for-fucking-ever and it hasn't made the slightest dent in the shared point of view. You going to try and tell me that after 8 years of defending any and everything George W. Bush conservatives are NOT going to continue to drink the Kool-Aid? Self-destructing or not she BELIEVES what they do. So yeah. Obama should be (albeit "politely") burning this guys campaign to the ground because it is the right thing to do and you KNOW he can. If Obama is going to live up to his word (CHANGE-ENOUGH) he has not only to defeat the McCain/Palin ticket but 8 retarded years of Bush. The more he shows those things being the bad choice, the less of a chance there is of status quo in Washington. So if a twist on a famous American quote is the way of putting that into peoples minds and have it make sense? Then go... for... it. Because no matter how smart the American voter is they will remember it.
  22. Happy Birthday to ME, you assholes!
