Some people are beginning to say that charging for everything on the Marketplace is officially ridiculous. Of course, Microsoft has fulfilled the 2 qualities needed for something like this: Obfuscate money from points, so it's harder to figure out how much a point is worth (400 points = $5.00, so therefore 4 points equal 5 cents and 1 point equals 1.25 cents.) Make things cost small amounts of points so the consumer goes "Eh, it's only a few points" and buys. Of course, you can always not buy these things. At the very least they could offer previews.

So how much does it hurt if you take a nutshot with a blackjack?

Oh, I see. Should've read the article. Big fucking whoop, then. How is this a giant step forward? Weren't the PowerPC chips better anyways? Sort of. Technically, they had better branching instruction performance, but to get the full power out of them required dedication and attention to the design docs, that kinda doesn't make sense. Most developers were used to the x86 assembly anyways, and could get better stuff out of that. Ryan Gordon said it best, the PPC was better in theory, but to get that kind of power was a huge pain in the ass, so why not half-ass it and get 85% of the power anyway? So that's what happened. I mean, you can get away with coding around the PPC like it was x86. Admittedly the G5 was a lot better, and it had kickass floating point performance, but then IBM... well... they never got above 3 GHZ. And the whole laptop thing... yeah.

At least Apple's generating a buzz with these new Machines. The Universal build of WoW tears ass on the new iMacs.

As long as we're talking about Halo 2, anyone for forming a Halo 2 clan? I'd love to be part of a team, I think it'd make team games more fun when we have, you know, a plan.

Out of all the games I have, I find it funny the two I play most on live are KoF 2003 and Samurai Shodown V. Looking into Neowave.

If it's a certain model number, Sony will fix it for free out of warranty. They did it for me.

Those three games can be hard at times, but they all rule. I own Indigo Prophecy... such an awesome game. Don't read FAQs, or you'll have wasted your money, but there are so many ways to play the first level, some that affect the rest of the game. Recommended.
