I don't believe Reich was going for the trip, just Markov just skating down the ice and the stick was there. There was no intent to trip. If anything blame Thomas, two softies he let in tonight.

xltrt (1 month ago) The Canadian announcer was not very interesting nor entertaining. Should have used Marv Albert. Fischer Fan (1 month ago) Please tell me your kidding. Marv Albert has never been, and never will be, the definitive hockey voice that Foster Hewitt was. I try to refrain from U.S.-bashing in regards to hockey; but a comment like yours only invites it. This moment was no place for an American sportscaster! This is in discussion of the game 8 of the summit series.

And watch Tiger shoot a 61.
-
The amazing thing is that he played the par 5s in even par yesterday. If he can start birdieing some of those holes, look out. Considering the course is going to be soft out there today, he is easily going to card another 68.

I agree. Catchphrases is lazy writing, and can only be done if the actor can pull it off properly. (See Dangerfield, Rodney). -
You think getting hit in the groin hurts, Patrick Thoreson might have one of his testical removed.
-
Treble and almost any Canadian can vouch for this. Bob McCowen is a tool.

An 18. It is a bit of a hike to get to a store, business. Took me 20 minutes walking to Staples from my place that includes cutting through a park.

How's Wayne Gretzky doing? Fine. I'm thinking like Ted Linsday, Ted Kennedy, Jean Bealiveau, Johnny Bauer, Gordie Howe, even Serge Savard. I should add Peter Zezel. Dude nearly added 120 pounds since retirement.

Vocals, Corey? I liked it. I was really impressed by the vocals, and a solid riff. No solo made me sad.

By the way he is playing, Immelman is going to win this thing. He's not making any mistakes out there. Snedetker is doing well for his second apperance, and he can get his first major this year as well. Everyone was saying that this Slam would have been easy for Tiger. I guess no analyst mentioned that Augusta would have been the most difficult major for Tiger to win.
-
At least we scored in the second half.
-
Or Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy, Bernie Perant. Hey, I just found out that Keith Carney was still playing.

Okay, but you live in Chicago, right? And you like the Bulls, Cubs, etc? The nearest pro sports teams to me are in DC, and I could give a rat's ass about all of them. They have minor league baseball and hockey here, and I can't fucking stand either of them. And, of course, the wretched college teams in Hampton Roads that I couldn't care less about. National >>>>> the alternative, at least for me. You have the most exciting player in hockey in the last 10 years, and you can't stand it? There is no help for you.

Should I knock some sense into EHME?

I think next year I'm gonna name some hockey legends. There are a bunch of them that are nearly kicking the bucket.

One of my favourite albums of all time.

agreed, on that. What would happen if say Toronto wins the Eastern Conference next year due to the massive success of Bryan McCabe. (Face it, he's comin back next year.) Maybe its also Toronto has been on a tailspin for the...oh past 40 years Few reasons why I want Montreal to win: I'm a Habs fan. Stick it to any Leaf/Sabres fan. I want to see the Headline at the Toronto Sun. Bob McCowen to fuck right off. Bringing the cup back to a Canadien team.

What a play by Zetterberg poke-checking the opposition and getting the GWG.

HD + Masters = The most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

Bullshit. Toronto had media hype from 98-2004. Especially the two years they were at the Conference Finals, and its still like that on any show. Why isn't JFJ getting fired yet, should Sundin be traded? Who should they get rid of next? Maybe it is more negative side of the Leaf coverage, but they are still getting coverage. Besides Montreal wasn't the most covered team in the NHL this year in terms of analysists. The demise of the Ottawa Senators took a lot of talk from January to now, and at the beginning of the season, they were considered to be the greatest team ever assembled. You can't help to say that Kovalev was the catalyst of the Habs success. (1st in the PP, lead the team in scoring, helped Plekanec, Kostitsyns) but there were other factors. Carey Price emerging as a superstar, Andrei Markov having a Norris-like season. A huge improvement on the 5-5 with the addition of Roman Hamilrik. Mark Streit plays well both on offence and defence, and Mike Komisarek is playing like a beast this season. The Habs have one of the best balanced offence in the league. Rant over, Dallas is running circles around Anaheim. This can be a very quick series.
-
New player Andrew Simon recorded seven tackles, while Steven Simon recorded his first career INT.
-
Look for Komisarek to be back on the ice as well tomorrow night. Joe Sakic passed Maurice Richard for most OT Goals in the playoffs with eight. Actually that whole overtime frame between Colorado and Minnesota was awesome.
