I've been reading that Billy Wagner is ahead of schedule in his rehab and may be ready to pitch in August. If that's the case, it raises an interesting scenario - on one hand, a bullpen with Rodriguez, Putz, and Wagner is downright terrifying. On the other, if a team is willing to wait a couple weeks (since the non-waiver trade deadline is July 31st), Wagner makes for interesting trade bait. Or, maybe the Mets would be willing to deal Rodriguez or Putz to a contender desperate for a closer and take their chances with Wagner. I know it sounds nerdy, but thinking about stuff like this is one of the reasons baseball is my favorite sport.

Meh. I'm a little annoyed that he didn't end up on the Mets but I feel that's more than he deserves. That being said, Oliver Perez is going to get a lot more than he deserves now, and it'll probably be the Mets that give it to him.

One game that I haven't seen mentioned here that's one of my favorite examples of the genre is Ogre Battle 64. Not that it's saying much but the game is easily the best RPG available for the N64 and a title that I've played through several times. Incredibly deep gameplay, engaging storyline, tons of unlockable characters, events and items, multiple endings - Atlus really put a lot of thought and effort into this game and it shows. Ogre Battle alone kept me from selling my N64 for years. Not that it's lost much value since it wasn't exactly valuable to begin with, but hey.

Not so much.

The Year of Pretty Good marches onward!

I came across some semi-valuable stuff in an old box of videogames my brother gave me when he left town for school and put them up for auction on eBay. Basically, I'm looking for places where I can advertise these auctions. I already know about Racketboy and Cheap Ass Gamer so suggestions of sites besides those would be greatly appreciated.

This weekend was much less stressful than the last one. Now I can just enjoy the games tomorrow!

This film is awful. Terrible. It spits in the face of cinema itself. That being said, it's also hilarious. I saw the movie with a bunch of friends and we had a grand old time making fun of it.

Game kinda stalled in the third quarter but damn if that doesn't make up for it.
