I don't have one, most of my favorite games are in different genres. I guess my least would be FPS, other than that I like alot of stuff.

The only way to play beatemups online would be to use kaillera, but you have a 56k so it will lag like a total bitch.

Slacks off in presentation? Yeah a bit but lets face it, CvS could have been much better in presentation anyway since it was the first time to see Capcom and SNK characters together in the arcades. In CvS2 the gameplay is boosted up so much that it makes CvS unplayable Again this is an issue of Gameplay vs Gloss. If a game can have both then great, but gameplay is a much more important factor in what makes a good game. Competitive, hell even casual play on CvS is a joke unless your playing against the computer. (Not SVC level joke but still its pretty bad) Also the robot voice box on CvS can't touch the CvS2's announcer.

I cant follow the tutorial on the games website so I've only played it a few times.

2K1 is a very rich gameplay wise, but its crippled by its horrible visuals. 2k on the other hand is the oposite.

How many of the games do you actually play? 94 can go pretty cheap on Neo-geo.

Kof is a mixed bag really. The ones that I play and hence prefer gameplay wise: 98 2k1 97 2k3 (still debating, doesnt seem too broken besides Dou lon). And if you must own a pre 97 game get 96. Still not a great game but you could do alot worse with 94 and 95. Sega saturn import

In what way? MKT isn't a dream match, if that's what you mean. Can't you play as almost every MK character in trilogy? I loathe the MK games so I'm no MK smart but thats how I thought it was. Midway shilling out a final 2d game with all the same crap before 3d mk4 Sammy/SNKP shilling out a final old sprite game before kof 2k4

CvS2 is a much better game than CVS despite its presentation problems.

I would have given much more of a crap if they didnt put out a dream match a year ago. Shame on them for still keeping the same god damn sprites. So much for the whole new hardware buzz. Still the BG's look pretty nice. I kind of see this as the MK Trilogy of the kof series.

That isn't just drawn in Alpha style, it IS an Alpha pic. That is directly from Alpha 3. Ryu's CvsS sprite isn't ripped from III. Sakura speaks the truth. Ryu, Ken, Bison, Akuma and Chun-Li all redrawn for the CVS games.

There is much more of a story to this one. Unlike shenmue 1 you actually do stuff in it (pick fights for money, gamble etc). Also Shenmue II introduces Ren, one of the coolest characters of recent times. There are massive QTE sections but they are almost always mixed very nicely with the pace of the game. There is still detective work in the game but its done a million times better than the first Shenmue. Also thank god they took out the english voice acting and replaced it with subs. Thumbs way up for me.
