  1. Hot last round, with the likes of Ryu and Sagat just getting through. So we have 1 Sammy, 2 SNK and a whole lot of capcom. Vega (claw) (Street Fighter) vs. Ken Masters (Street Fighter) Iori Yagami (King of Fighters) vs. M. Bison (Street Fighter) Sagat (Street Fighter) vs. Ryu (Street Fighter) Ky Kiske (Guilty Gear) vs. Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury) Voting ends next weekish again. (Note: wanna play Sagat vs Ryu with some insane juggles and other unbalanced features? Click here. It was posted in the last round but hey here it is again.
  2. Girl on girl barbie then?
  3. DC++ guide ver 2 Okay, over time I have seen many many many people asking for cd (playstation, dreamcast etc) games and where they can download them so I thought I could help with this. First off, no downloading cd games is not as easy as downloading a snes rom, you cant just click on a site and download and even if a site claims to do so 99.9999% of the time you will just be sent in circles and probably be bombarded with an influx of ads. Some people use kazza which can be decent at times but only a few select games will fully download since cd games isn’t really what kazza is used for. Also by using kazza you run the risk of downloading a virus when downloading games. In order to download cd games you need a program called DC (Direct connect) ++. DC++ is a godsend for finding roms, isos, warez…in fact anything. First off go and download the program from its homepage, there are other types of direct connect such as neo-modulus direct connect but some hubs are anal to what type of DC you have so just stick with DC++. Further help with DC++ here- this guide will cover everything you need to get started fully illustrated with screenshots. Okay first things first make sure the folder in which your files are being downloaded isn’t your share folder. Sharing incomplete files will get you kicked from any hub. Second, do not share porn period. Almost all hubs have a no porn policy and if you have it in your share, you’ll be kicked or maybe banned. I wouldn’t recommend sharing installed programs either. Now you have established your share click on the public hubs button (the first icon with the computer picture) and wait for the total hub list to load. Then filter the hub list with any keyword or enter the address if you have one to find the hub you are looking for. Make sure you require the minimum share of the hub you are in (it will be in the hub rules) and share things that are relevant to the hub you are in (so if you are in a movie hub make sure you actually have some movies in your share). Now that you are in a hub use the search feature to find what you are looking for. Remember that if you want to download something the user has to have a free slot, otherwise you will be in a queue. And that’s basically it. Advantages of DC++ -It cuts out all the crap, no renamed movies and the like that you would find on kazza. -Romheaven! Particularly GBA roms. -If you’re lucky enough to be download something from someone with a good connection, its damn fast. -You can find almost anything else Disadvantages -You need to share quite a lot depending on the hub -Don’t even jest about downloading if you have a dialup, you need a decent connection. -Can be a bit confusing at first, neo-modulus direct connect is much easier to use but in the long run DC++ is better. -Those god damned queues can last forever. So basically if you have a bad pc don’t use DC++. Some hub addresses I use quite a lot: killua.student.utwente.nl– It's an anime hub but it has so many users I use it for roms and warez too. megaman.gotdns.com- Comic hub, good for those hard to find back issues. Classicsega.homeunix.com – A sega hub, I use it for roms mostly. Hope that helps some people. NOTE: I have read that DC++ can be unsafe at some points so I really would advise you have a good firewall like zone alarm.
  4. Sadly this show will only end when one of the voice actors dies.
  5. Do a search on google, I'm sure I've seen something on it a few months back. In slightly related news to that I'm going to try and make my own custom arcade stick.
  6. Renegade

    Capcom..

You forgot the MM collection coming for the GBA, not sure what date. *looks at his MM collection* I guess one more wouldnt hurt. How could you forget Killer 7? No THATS what I'm hoping for.
  7. Holy crap, you missed the whole point, then! Its probably the reason why I didnt find the later megaman games as taxing besides MMZ.
  8. All the megaman games besides dash and the legends games. I was about 200% better when I was alot younger since I actually didnt know that the enemy weapon upgrades were usefull against other robot masters (I would try it on a random ememy and it would do little damage). I beat almost all the Nes megaman games with just the buster.
  9. Just thought you guys might want to play this. The greatest fight of all time! Ready...flash fight!
  10. Its EA, it wont be a good game.
  11. Isnt there a thread for this? Like right above this one?
  12. Thanks flik, I'll have much more fun counting the votes now.
  13. Lot of Capcom in this round... Jin Kazama (Tekken) vs. Vega (claw) (Street Fighter) Ken Masters (Street Fighter) vs. Hwoarang (Tekken) Iori Yagami (King of Fighters) vs. Heihachi Mishima (Tekken) M. Bison (Street Fighter) vs. E. Honda (Street Fighter) Sagat (Street Fighter) vs. Akuma (Street Fighter) Ryu (Street Fighter) vs. Mai Shiranui (Fatal Fury) Ky Kiske (Guilty Gear) vs. Rugal Bernstien (King of Fighters) Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury) vs. Kibagami Genjuro (Samurai Shodown) Again voting ends sometime next week.
  14. Art of fighting invented super moves, does it make it a good game?
  15. Backbackdowndowbupuppunchkickpunchblockblockblock.
  16. Right now Killer 7 Gungrave O.D Kingdom hearts 2 There are more, just cant think of any at this moment.
  17. Bit late to complain about who isnt there. With good reason. Anyway I'll count these votes up in a few hours.
  18. EDIT: Nevermind.
  19. It looks for the Kazaa folder. I wouldn't spread unless it's running if that is what you mean. So...if you have kazza running you could get it? I mean if I'm just downloading some other random crap (lets say a simpsons epidsode) as long as Kazaa is up and running it could be in my shared folder? Or would I have had to have downloaded a file?
  20. I have bad memories buying from the uk ones like anotherworld, ravengames and cex. The french site seems decent, but I found better for what I wanted at lik-sang. My friend is going back to Hong kong for easter, so I guess I can shop from lik-sang till then.
  21. Care to explain that in more detail to the winamp retarded, like the porn bit?
  22. Seeing as how the last thread was cluttered with dead links I thought about starting a new one. Well first thing’s first lets gets some links to get people started. Snes: Main site: Emuasylum.com- Hands down best snes roms site, only problem is that you wont find any mario or kirby there. Backup sites: Romnation.net- Again it does not have any mario or Zelda and unlike asylum you have to vote, but its a good place to go to if you really want a sure rom (Note: There are hentai pop ups, but it’s the price you pay for emulation I guess) For those who want nintendo roms here are two sites: www.coolrom.com/snesroms2.php (you need to vote) http://www.ciudadfutura.com/gamesworld/snes.html (I think you have a dialy limit of how many roms you can download) That should be all you need. Recommended emulator: Snes9x (too many places where you can download it from, I personally use the 1.39mk version) Games that I recommned: Mario world, Yoshi island, Secret of mana 2, Chrono trigger, Super punch out, Super castlevania IV, Zelda link to past, Captain Tsubasa 3 and 4, Megaman X series, Megaman 9, Megaman and Bass, NBA Jam TE, Kirby superstar, Clock tower, Mario Kart, ISS Deluxe and Boy soccer team (hack) or its real name captain tsubasa 5. Game patches: http://www.rpgclassics.com/trans/snestrans.shtml or Dejap.com Which can be patched using snes tool, just read this page http://www.rpgclassics.com/trans/howtopatch.shtml Megadrive/Master system/32X: Roms: Again Emuasylum.com is all you need from the sonics to Choatix it should be all there. Games I recommend (megadrive): The Sonics, Toejam and earl 1 and 2, Gunstar heroes, Alien soldier, Dynamite heddy, Ecco the dolphin, Streets of rage 2, Comix zone, Micro machines turbo tourney, Nba jam, Contra hard corps Mega CD: Very few sites actually have Mega CD roms. Here is the only one I’ve used http://www.galeon.com/download-a-saco-2k2/megacd.html Update: dead link. Recommended Megadrive/32X/Mega CD emulator: Gens by a long way. It’s pretty easy to find. Neo-geo Roms: Emuasylum, but they rotate their rom days so you wont be able to download the roms everyday. http://retroroms.official-website.net/modules/news/ - you need to sign up. Neogamez.net- Not always roms, but it’s a good update site for newly dumped roms and the like. It’s a Spanish site. Emulators: Kawaks, mame and Neorage. I myself usually use Kawaks. Mame: http://retroroms.official-website.net/modules/news/ - Need to sign up for it but besides really new roms it has everything.
  23. I couldnt care less about a live version of SvC (bad game, man what a waste of my money) and I already own the metal slug 3 import on the PS2. However if this SNK on X-box continues I might have to buy one some time down the line.
  24. I'll second that. With DC++ and bittorent you can find everything.
