I think I might have liked Death Proof more if it had gone first, I think it's just that Planet Terror did a really good job of re-creating what these Grindhouse movies were supposed to be like (or, at least what the people promoting the movie have said they were like), with the grainy film and the colours messing up and stuff like that and then Death Proof doesn't seem to have any of that. There's bits and pieces here and there (where the film keeps skipping towards the beginning comes to mind), but it seems to forget all of that once they introduce the new characters. The rest of the movie after that is kinda boring up until the car chase (which is really awesome) and then Stuntman Mike, who is a really great character up until this point, does a 180.

Death Proof was kind of a disappointment. Stuntman Mike went out like a bitch. Anyone else get the Hobo With a Shotgun trailer before the movie?

Raycroft isn't that bad, he gets shit on WAY too much. I expect the Leafs to win on Saturday, just based on their home record and the Habs road record lately, but I think Huet could be the x-factor if he plays, which he probably will. I just don't like the season resting on the Flyers or a Brodeur-less Devils.

It might be awesome, but some of that awesomeness goes out the window if the Islanders beat the Flyers and still have a shot at making it. This was a pretty good episode, with tons of twists. Loved Tom blackmailing the VP and the whole Gredenko thing from having his arm cut off up until he croaked on the beach.

A little bit of overkill, as the Detroit FOX affiliate has a 3 hour pre-game show before today's game. I realize they were a great story last year, but has there ever been such a big deal made about the team that lost the World Series?

Are the FOX games only for the opening weekend or are they going to show games all year instead of from June or so on like they usually do?

We got by fine last year, and it's head-to-head, so everyone has the same limitations when it comes to competing for saves and holds.
