  1. There was another Shotgun Saturday match that I remember liking: Steve Blackman vs. Stevie Richards. Richards was dressed as Blackman. This was a few weeks after he worked with Foley while dressed as Dude Love. Mid Match, the Blue Meanie comes out...dressed as Dude Love. Just seemed funny to me. I always thought the bWo guys each dressing like a different Foley character would've been amusing.
  2. Fan of the director, fan of wrestling, fan of the lead actor, I'm definitely looking forward to this one.
  3. We can change our own names now? Man, now I'm kinda tempted to change my name for the first time.
  4. I remember on Saturday Shotgun once he teamed with Val Venis, dressed as Val Venis. Except he forgot to wear tights under the towel, so the first half of the match was a handicap match with just Val while Stevie went to the back to get tights. I was greatly amused.
  5. What do YOU mean by "you people"?
  6. And you are welcome to her. I think I fell asleep just looking at that picture.
  7. I think Viggo Mortensen could play a pretty solid Bane.
  8. Ingrid Bergman
  9. Orton has pansy-ass new music.
  10. Sorry 'bout that, didn't get a PM. My pick: Ben Kingsley I could buy him in any kind of role at this point. Also, Brooklyn PMed me his pick. Heath Ledger
  11. I don't mind Hawke so much. I liked him in Training Day and the Before Sunrise/Sunset movies, and he was passable in the AoP13 remake.
  12. Oh, I know. I just had a method to my selections and that was just as good a time as any to get into it.
  13. Yeah, but he wasn't even born when Herzog was doing stuff like Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo. But ok, set Bale aside for a moment, the movie also had Steve Zahn giving his best performance ever (I'm usually pretty neutral on Zahn).
  14. I picked mostly directors from older eras and have at least one more older director in mind, but will probably pick modern actors for the most part. I like to think about how newer actors would work with older directors. Like Herzog and Bale worked together in Rescue Dawn and it was fantastic. Those kinds of things interest me.
  15. I thought Sin City was his comeback movie.
  16. Didn't he turn face after the first hour draw with Joe? "Fuck anybody who tries to stop us!" I only saw the Steamboat feud on the second Best of Punk DVD so maybe it was short lived, but they fought, Steamboat gave a speech, Generation Next attacked Steamboat and Punk helped fight them off.
  17. I dunno if it qualifies as "honorable" but Punk's face turn at the end of the Ricky Steamboat feud was all kinds of awesome.
  18. There was a pretty sweet looking DVD in a tin case at Best Buy for like $12. I was this close to picking it up even though I hadn't heard of the movie. Maybe I'll head up there next time I get the chance and get it.
  19. Yeah, that was a good one, too. It's just a bit hard for me to get into John Wayne.
  20. I had a demo of TNM7, it seemed like less of a game than TEW is. It was fun for a while, but the demo was enough for me.
  21. Dunno if I can rank these except that Once Upon a Time in the West is #1, but my favorite westerns are: -Once Upon a Time in the West -The Big Country -El Topo -Lonely are the Brave -No Country For Old Men -Shane -The Magnificent Seven -The Wild Bunch
  22. "The Wild Bunch" was the first western I really loved. I liked "Tombstone", but "The Wild Bunch" got me into the genre.
  23. Probably just some viral marketing for the game.
  24. Best western movie = Once Upon a Time In The West. Or maybe El Topo.
