DAMN good show. Though, IMO, Norm's bit fell kind of flat, or maybe I just "didn't get it"? Supposedly Bob requested that a lot of the jokes aimed at the Olsen twins get cut from the broadcast of the roast. Considering some of the jokes that were aired, I wonder what was cut? Cloris Leachman kicked fucking ass though.
I thought Norm was the funniest out of all of them.
Second best Simpsons line ever.
#1 either being "Delicious wine?" or "With good cause!". Seriously, THOSE are the lines I love.
"I'm cold and there are wolves after me."
Upon re-watching the first one, it's a lot more awful than I originally thought. I at least gave it credit for the effects and the performances of the more seasoned actors, but the CGI gets really bad and never gets good enough to make up for the times when it looks like VeggieTales. And the adult actors that aren't named Richard Harris either overact and milk the scenes something awful. Alan Rickman actually does shifty eyes! These things got WAY better when they started getting real directors.
Yeah, it's a horror anime. And I've heard good things about Monster. I'll probably start with something else though since Monster is really long and other ones have like 11 episodes.
I borrowed a friend's hard drive and copied a bunch of complete anime series'. I got Gokujou Seitokai (Best Student Council?), Ayakashi, Black Cat, Monster, St. Luminous, and XxxHolic. Any of them any good?
Yeah, the hands and different layers of paper look really cut and pasted together, and the question mark scribble doesn't look quite right. Other than that, solid work.
Yeah, Ellen Burstyn's ending (specifically the reveal shot when her friends come to visit) is the one that got me crying- which I never do with movies.
