  2. man, is it just me or has everything past season 1 been a downer? I'll start on season 5 tomorrow, hopefully that'll be a wee bit more up-beat than the past 3 seasons have been
  3. phew, just about done with season 4 (Sacrifice just ended). How is season 5 (so far) compared to 4?
  4. maybe he payed them under a different name
  5. speaking of Xander, would he be considered a "champion"?
  6. Charcoal
  7. yeah, the $5.50 bin at Walmart has a surprisingly high number of qualtiy movies/DVD's in it.
  8. him as a Gangsta Rapper on Crack would be pretty hilarious, though
  9. huh, that's pretty much the exact cover for the bootleg copy I got
  10. well, in the case of North, it's mostly the writing. The same guy did the short story it was based on (I think), and the short story is just so unbelievably bad...the directing and acting and all that could be top notch and North would still be in the bottom 10. and Ditto on the MST3K part Thing is, when a film hits a level of badness --- its craptosity MAKES it more enjoyable. You can enjoy "Battlefield Earth" or "Spice World" for the unending, unmitigated, unredeemable train wreck that they are. You can almost sense that everybody involved is quite certain that it sucks. Heck, "Manos" and Ed Wood's stuff is SO HORRIBLE that one derives amusement from the ineptitude. NOW, with "Ghost and the Darkness" , they TRULY felt it was a great movie and any campy amusement from its craptacularness is impossible to feel. However, "Catalina Caper" or the German "Hamlet" probably are the worst ever --- as MST3K couldn't make them amusing. -=Mike yeah, but North is a movie that's soooooooooo bad that it transcends "so bad it's funny" and is in "so bad it's BAD" territory

  12. worst 10 or so movies ever: 1: North 2: Polish Vampire in Burbank 3: Manos: Hands of Fate 4: The Brain that Wouldn't Die 5: Love and a Bullet 6: Wing Commander 7: Jaws: The Revenge 8: 2001: A Space Travesty 9: Exorcist 2: The Heretic 10: Halloween 3 Feardotcom and Dead Alive used to be on the list, but Polish Vampire in Burbank and Love And A Bullet bumped them off
  13. sounds like it might be kindof a Mars Attacks! type movie
  14. probably a yellow submarine reference so they spent 3 and a half seasons worried about Angel going evil, and then THEY'RE the ones who turn him evil? That's fucked up. *Is way behind*
  15. Okay, I'm up to Habeus Corpus, so now I know why people keep saying the Beast kicks ass *marks for The Beast killing Gavin*
