  1. Has Earl been any good? I got so disinterested in watching it while he was in prison that I stopped watching and now I have no idea what's going on. He's still doing the list, right?
  2. Nothing touches MST3K for me.
  3. I'd put it behind The Constant, but it's definately top 3.
  4. Good, fuck Ryan.
  5. Ok, I don't THINK this album counts as a compilation album, but if it does lemme know and I'll change my pick to something else. "Silver & Gold" by Neil Young I thought about picking "Rust Never Sleeps" but I generally find myself skipping around that album more than I listen to it. And whenever someone comes up with a "what songs do you listen to the most" thread, I look at my iTunes thing and see that "Without Rings" and "Razor Love" are in the top three more often than not. There've been times I've listened to this album a couple times a week and didn't even realize it. I love me some Neil Young, and this is my favorite album of his.
  6. Hm. I think I like the movie ending better.
  7. I hated what Carley did to Jesus Christ Superstar. She sang entire lines of the lyrics wrong and did the chorus in the wrong order so the rhyme scheme was completely destroyed. I couldn't tell if the background singers were singing it right or not because she was shouting over them.
  8. Could someone spoil the ending of the book for me? I'm not going to read it but I'm curious as to what the different ending is.
  9. Ok, then forget all those movies I listed except 28 Days Later. The kid in the diner getting blugeoned to death with a bat was great.
  10. Serenity, Once Upon a Time in the West, Eraserhead, Pan's Labyrinth, 28 Days Later.

    Juno

For a second I thought he was going to say the cover compared "The Rapture" to "Juno." I would've driven to Best Buy and found it just to see how in the hell the cover blurb made THAT connection. But it probably compared it to "Stigmata" or something.
  12. Oh, I don't dislike the Beatles. I just like other bands more.
  13. Plenty of people.
  14. Serial Experiments Lain
  15. It's almost entirely off screen, but Anekin (sp?) kills all the Jedi kids.
  16. Star Wars Episode 3
  17. I always thought they were MUCH better songwriters than they were musicians and usually preferred the covers of their stuff.
  18. Even the zombies.
  19. I have to say, I enjoyed a LOT.
  20. First one I could find. I can look for something more reputable if you like. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/scrubs/scr...ce-si-7148.aspx
  21. "Challengers: Executive Edition" by The New Pornographers. 2 albums worth of material plus a ton of photos and two music videos for $5. I got it signed after the show.
  22. "California" by Mr. Bungle After what I'd heard about Mr. Bungle back when the only Mike Patton band I'd heard was Faith No More, I was surprised by how accessible this album was. I'd say it's one of my favorite rock albums, but hardly any of it is what I'd classify as "rock." "Sweet Charity" and "Vanity Fair" in particular, two of my favorite songs on the album, are nothing like the alt metal Faith No More or even any of the other Mr. Bungle stuff. But "Retrovertigo" is far and away my favorite of the album, and probably my favorite by the band as a whole.
  23. *sigh*
  24. Yeah, that might've gotten the biggest laugh of the movie when I saw it.
