  1. I agree. Until they build the show, title, and just everything overall up, it isn't going to matter who he jobs to, or how many people he does so. He could help set things back on track over the next year, and THEN help build up some other guys.
  2. The only thing that can save this entire angle, is if Raven is the guy that this kid goes to live with, and then starts acting just like him. The kid comes out at the PPV, turns his back on Eddie AND Rey, and then Raven comes walking out.
  3. *takes a big ol' shit all over this segment*
  4. Kim Chee is Hassan's new gimmick.
  5. Oh. My. God. AUGHAUGHGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! *slaps belly*
  6. I'm on the verge of hating Batista more than I hate Edge. I could actually start to like Edge, a lot, if he keeps up what he started on this past RAW.
  7. My God. I HATE Batista on the mic. Honestly, am I the only one here or not!?
  8. The only moves that I'm not a big fan of are the ones where someone holds their self up for an extended period of time, like for a guillotine leg drop or something. Some of you guys must really hate basic moves like a suplex, etc...
  9. Like I said, the actual PSP game lineup is pure shit, with a few decent games (Hot Shots Golf and the such) and one really good one (Lumines, and that's just a puzzle game). The only game that comes out for the rest of the year that looks like something that will be REALLY good is the GTA game, that's a must for me. The DS on the other hand has a series of games about to come out, starting with Advance Wars, Nintendogs, and Pac N Roll (I want that one to be pretty good, but I doubt it will be since EGM game it a 6.83).
  10. Holy shit... Is this guy totally under a normal contract? How old is he and everything? I just don't quite know what to say about that short video. Wow.
  11. Well, I did it. I finally broke down and bought a PSP (with 1.50 firmware). I did it right now for two reasons: -As time goes by, the PSPs with 1.50 firmware will become rare, as others like me try to get their hands on it. -As the release date for GTA: LCS gets closer, the prices of used PSPs are likely to go up a little bit. I paid $206, and I got the PSP value pack with everything that came with it, as well as the Twisted Metal game. I then went to eBay and bought a 1gb memory stick for about $86.xx after shipping. This little machine is far greater than I thought it was. I STILL stand behind there not being any games for it that are really must haves at the moment. I might pick up Lumines and Hot Shots Golf, but that'll be about it until GTA. The PSP game lineup really does suck, there isn't any question about that in my eyes. Thank God I have a DS as well. Anyway, here are the reasons why I'm really blown away with the PSP: -While Twisted Metal isn't a great game in my eyes, I've never really liked it at all, I love the online feature. It's just too cool being able to play against people from all over the world on this little machine, in the bathroom, outside, in town, or just anywhere else. I've been playing that game just because that's so cool to me. -Wow, do movies look great on this thing or what? The Spider-Man 2 UMD that came with it just looks amazing. I'm not about to lay down $15-$25 for movies I already have on DVD, but if I can ever find some used for $5-$8 or so, I'd gladly do so. -Ok, if you stay up to date on PSP news, you know that this Sony is releasing the 2.0 firmware for the US tomorrow. The big thing is that it has a pretty solid browser for you to go online with (If you went ahead and updated using the Japanese update you might have used it already). Now I know that the browser would be great, but since I want to stay at 1.50 until they crack future firmware, I'm using the Tenchi browser hack. It isn't perfect, but I can get online on my PSP now. Thank God for people who know how to figure out this homebrew stuff. The Tenchi browser rocks, and it's easy to personalize. -NES, GB, SNES, Genesis, etc... on the go. Need I say more? -How can I not love having the new Family Guy movie on my PSP anywhere I go? -Comic books, novels, manga, and other reading material to go? Again, I love it. -Finally, the screen is just flat out beautiful. I'm shocked at how crisp and clean it looks, and I'm especially shocked at how large it really does look. I bought my PSP used, so it did have a few scratches on it. However, I followed the guide at IGN, and now my PSP is about 99.99% scratch-free. It's very easy to clean off. Anyway, I'm a huge PSP fan now, this thing will go everywhere with me now. For now though, it's still the DS for actual released games. Nintendo is still king on that front.
  12. SD isn't a draw period.
  13. Well if you really want to know what would happen, you have to mention turning guys. If you want to pretend that you can't turn anyone, that's cool also, but it's not realistic or anything, which is why I mentioned the turns. Cena can be a long-running top face, I do not question that. I simply do not feel that he is a long-term champ. He's far better as a guy who is gunning for the title, not holding it. You are just making it sound like WWE would end if Cena failed as a long-term champ (which I think is happening, and will continue to happen), and that's just not true.
  14. I'm not sure, but I still think that Edge should but his "Money In The Bank" contract on the line for the match to make it just a little bit more interesting.
  15. It wouldn't be anything to worry about. There are plenty of guys who could be face, and have a more extended face run on top than Cena. Not to mention that Cena is NOT the kind of face who can hold the title for a long period of time. As many have stated before, he's more of a contender that chases the title, than a long term champ. Someone like Kurt, now there is a long time face champ. It booked the right way, I could even see Edge as a long time face champ. The point is that it's nothing to worry about.
  16. Why should any of that matter at all to me? It's the same thing where people hate Hulk Hogan especially when he was at his very top. If everyone else in the world loved Cena except for me, I'd still hate him right now.
  17. Yes, first the smarks will start to turn on Cena...and then all of the fans!!! *rubs hands together deviously*
  18. In my eyes, that was pure gold.
  19. ... And this is the first time I've cared about Edge since he became a singles star. Wow. If they play their cards right, this right here, this promo, could be the moment where Edge's career REALLY begins. They need to have him do a lot more of that right there, that is how I'll start to give a shit abou tthe guy. Yes folks...I'm in awe.
  20. gwf0704, could you please change your sig...or make the pictures a little smaller? It stretches the screen every time you post in a thread.
  21. That's exactly right. The sad thing, is that they aren't creating any new stars so that in ten years from now, we'll have any other "dream matches". Something like HBK/Eddie is not a dream match to me really. It's just a really cool match I'd like to see. HBK/Rock on the other hand...
  22. Most casual fans? Most wrestling fans, period, would like to see that match take place, even if they don't want to admit it.
  23. Well I know that (I don't remember hearing it wasn't like that anymore, but it could be), but seeing how bitter Bret has been over the years, it wouldn't surprise me if they were not on speaking terms or something. Wasn't much of the Hart family torn apart for this reason and that? Eh, I just thought it would be cool to see The Anvil be the one to do it. They are, or were, family. They both hit it big with one another. They were a part of a very close faction, and it all ties in together with Owen, Bulldog, and Pillman. Since all three of those guys have passed, it would be fitting for the remaining living member to be there on Bret's big day, and could make for an even more emotional moment. I know I'm in the minority though, and I know it'll end up being Benoit (or HBK just for shits), heh.
  24. I'd rather HBK be champ than anyone like Edge, and especially over Cena. Say what you will about HBK, but I pretty much always love his matches.
  25. I was thinking that Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart would induct Bret Hart into the HoF. He's an original member of The Hart Foundation, and is the only other surviving member of the group overall, other than Bret himself. What is the relationship between Bret and Neidhart these days?
