I couldn't wait an entire month to get this DVD set. I've been waiting for it for far too long.
-
I'm shocked that anyone would be able to wait to just get this for Christmas. This is one of those things where I absolutely MUST be there to pick up on release day.
-
I could also see Kevin Nash being involved somehow. I could see them showing a mystery man showing up earlier in the night, then panning up to revel it is Nash, then talk about him all night and questioning who he there to support. Maybe have him even flat out say just "Hogan/HBK" then walk away, or maybe have him sit at ringside. Or I could see them having him just casually walk down to the ring at some point during the match, and just stand there for a while having everyone wondering just what in the hell is going to happen, and just who in the world he is there to help out or support. He has one hell of a history with both guys in this match, so it wouldn't totally shock me if that happened. I know it doesn't mean anything, but didn't they have an interview with him on WWE.com recently talking about this match? It shows that they at least have had contact with the guy.

I could see Hogan taking a "normal" superkick after having Hogan stopping an earlier one by taking him out right after HBK jumps up to get ready for it. Only Hogan would kick out after a VERY close two-count. Hogan jumps up, does his entire Hulk-Up routine leading to everybody and their mama to think that the match is now over, and then out of nowhere HBK hits another superkick right as Hogan is in the middle of his routine, and this time the superkick keeps him down just enough to get the three-count.
-
The superkick/Hulk-Up spot MUST happen, no matter who wins. I'd also like to see Hogan knock HBK back down on his ass as soon as him jumps up right before he goes for the superkick.
-
I could see other people getting involved for either guy. This is the first match in a very long time where I have no clue at all about who is going to win. As for who I "want" to win, eh, it all depends on how I feel as I watch the match, who is acting heel/face, and other factors.

HHH and Ric Flair's return date to TV announced
Downhome replied to algrim's topic in The WWE Folder
Not to mention that for the past year, or over a year really, we have NOT seen the HHH that people feel in hate with for the most part. As I've stated over and over, HHH totally lost the Benoit feud...he never ended up getting the upper-hand there, and then Batista fucking DOMINATED that entire feud from start to finish. I just don't understand how people just can't get a grip and at LEAST give HHH credit for the Batista deal. Who was the last main eventer with "power" who jobbed to the exact same guy for three PPVs in a row (including dropping the title atWrestleMania...and including jobbing, and losing the world title at two Wrestlemanias in a row)??? The HHH character ended up looking like a joke by the time his feud with Batista was over. Not only did all of the above happen, but when he did lay down for someone else, wasn't it pretty much totally clean each time also? Including his WM match with Benoit? It's not like HHH was a face and was losing because a big bad heel was cheating to pick up these wins. vivisectvi, I've gotta say that I'm with you on all of this. -
HHH and Ric Flair's return date to TV announced

Yeah, you sure can. But as of right now, WWE sure as shit can't. If anything they have exposed the flaws of Edge, Cena, Batista, Carlito, and on and on and on. WWE is going through a period right now, it seems, where they love to show off the shittiest side of their workers, and put all of that in the spotlight, while holding down almost all of their good points. They're doing it the most to Cena and Batista though, the world champs no less. -
HHH and Ric Flair's return date to TV announced

I'd rather see HHH on my TV, as the world champ, than ever seen John Cena and Edge. I don't care what anyone thinks about it either, I just dislike those two guys that much. I know Cena is over, I just couldn't care less about that fact. I don't give a shit if someone is over or not, I just know who I like and who I don't like, and right now, I HATE Cena. Hey Flair and HHH, come back...PLEASE!!! I agree that we need a different heel on top though, and I don't think HHH should be the entire focus for a while. I've always thought that Jericho could be a perfect top heel if booked correctly. I'd even like to see TBS booked so that he is the monster that he was in WCW. There are plenty of options for WWE, but they'll never go for any of them. -
Is it totally confirmed that all of the Wrestlemania's are being released? If so, I will unload the "rare" OOP ones soon (15, 16, 17, 18).

Is it somewhat easy to get emulators running on a PSP?
-
From what I've read about them online, I can't get excited about Death Jr. and Coded Arms. On Gamerankings.com Death Jr. has a score of 66% and Coded Arms is at 61%.

I just broke down and bought a PSP. For $206 I got a PSP value pack (1.50 firmware) and the Twisted Metal game. 1) I know that I'll be buying Lumines and Hot Shots Golf for sure. What are some other solid titles to think about picking up? 2) What are the games to really look out for in the future, besides the GTA game (I'll be getting that one for sure). 3) About online play: I have a Wireless G Broadband Router hooked up to the computer in my room, and another computer on the other end of the house getting a wireless connection off of the setup. Should everything be cool for me and my PSP online here at home? I would basicly just turn the system on anywhere in my house and be able to get online? 4) What are some of the bonus cool stuff that the PSP can do with this firmware version? Like emulators and all of that. 5) Ok, if you have anything else having to do with the PSP that you'd like to share, let me know. I can't wait to have it so I can really get into it. Also, on the Nintendo DS front, I've been playing the absolute hell out of Nanostray. It didn't get the best reviews ever, but I'm having a ball with it. If you love shooters, I don't see how you can't just love this one.

What works better for you? Cena and Batista
Downhome replied to Dangerous A's topic in The WWE Folder
I think Cena falls in the same group as Sting and other guys like that, where it's just more interesting if he's in the title hunt. I really liked Cena as he was trying to get the title, even though I didn't want him to win. As for Batista, I think his career will really get started once he is a champion as a heel. I hate his face character right now, I just can't stand it. Ever since he turned face, my love for the guy has all but totally disappeared. I just don't see a reason to cheer for the guy as a face. -
*waits for the news report stating that Vince has banned anyone from being tossed over the top rope, and if they do it's an automatic DQ*

There is a stamp on Dominic's ass that says "Property of Eddie G." That'll be part three of the story next week. -

I haven't seen something this predictable in wrestling since John Cena's last match. -

I looked up RAW results and it says that Bart Gunn beat Kama in one bout, and Dan Severn beat him in another. Was Kama the guy who got another shot because someone else dropped out/got hurt/etc...? -

I think it was Dan Severn. -

Part two of the story is that Dominic isn't really a boy, he's really a horse! -
