Yeah, that's what I thought. I doubt that situation has changed. He might not ever really be able to do it again.

Can Hogan even do the leg drop anymore? I don't remember him doing it a single time during his most recent WWE run.
-
I saw the trailer for that before Land of the Dead, and it could end up being painful to watch...or it could be great. I don't see a middle ground for this one, and if I had to bet one way or the other, it'd be on it being painful. I hope I'm wrong though.

The OaO "Land of the Dead" talkback thread

I've read that he was actually, but I can't say for sure which is why I didn't mention him in my post. Can anyone confirm that Nick was in there also? -
The OaO "Land of the Dead" talkback thread
Downhome replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
I saw it, loved it, but after my first viewing I'm left with the feeling that something was missing. That feeling is likely to go away after I see it again though. If you love zombie flicks, especially Romero's work, you'll more than likely be pleased with this one. Am I just crazy, or did I read somewhere that this is the first of a possible new trilogy? I don't know about everyone else, but I really, really like Dennis Hopper. I think one of the things that left me with a feeling that something was missing is that he didn't really do a whole lot of anything in this movie. I wont spoil anything, but I almost didn't really see the point of his character, they seriously didn't really do shit with it, and that pissed me off. His storyline with Legizamo just felt tossed in for the hell of it, without much meat at all to it. I think you are right NoCalMike, I felt like a LOT was missing (cut) from the final print. I'm sure the DVD will either be an extended version of the film, or will at least have tons of deleted scenes. That would be my only complaint, everything else was pretty much perfect for a flick like this. So who was able to catch Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright? I wasn't able to, but I saw their names listed in the credits as the "photo booth zombies". I think I'm going to watch it again to see how everything sits with me again, but I think I'll still have the same main complaint. All of that said, everyone who is a fan of this sort of thing should go see it. It does indeed feel like GR was reinventing the genre he created...that is NOT just hype, trust me. There were also a few "new" types of deaths and attacks, so even the deaths and the such felt fresh for the most part. EDIT: Holy shit, I obviously noticed this when I saw the film, but I didn't even know it was him (Simon Pegg)! -
As far as I'm concerned, they need to just retire Eddie/Rey right now, please.
-
Hopefully, neither, as they'd both just get lost in the shuffle. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just about anyone who goes to RAW will get lost in the shuffle.
-
So who goes to RAW on Monday, Rey or Eddie?
-
The name is horrible, it's something you would see at the lowest of indie shows. Well cool, Booker T and Benoit are on SD, thank God.
-
Mexi-cools? HOLY FUCK, my God. Why did they attack Chavo? I can't wait to see someone chase them as they make their grand getaway on the "Mexican Limo". I'd much rather them just be, you know, the LWO.
-
Ok, when I first saw them come out I didn't notice what they were wearing...or riding. So they come to WWE, and give them THIS gimmick? Ugh.
-
Holy crap, a Lucha invasion~!!!!!
-
A new SD championship???
-
There is no such thing as a Heidenreich mark. You are a Heidenreich friend.
-
How in the living hell does Taker ever lose when he has the ability to CREATE LIGHTING?
-
If I don't start it now, it's likely we wont see one at all, and if we do it wont be until halfway through the show. So yeah, here are the matches for SD and Velocity: Velocity: 1) Scotty/Shannon vs. Garrison Cade and Trevor Rhodes 2) Booker vs. Kidman 3) OJ vs. Nunzio 4) Rene Dupree vs. Patrick Rizer 5) Benoit vs. Akio Smackdown: 1) Heidenreich vs. Mercury 2) Paul London vs. Chavo 3) Big Show vs. The next draft pick 4) Eddie vs. Rey After RAW, I don't think it's hard to guess who will be coming over to SD this week. It's just GREAT to see Benoit on Velocity, same thing can be said for Booker T. Eddie vs. Rey again, this should be fantastic! If we don't see any of the new lucha guys, I'll be pissed.
-
Now that's the truth. The fact that it feels like ONS was months ago speaks volumes about the quality of RAW and SD.

I was just looking through this folder, and I noticed that ever since the ECW PPV has come and gone, this folder has once again slowed way down, even though we are in the middle of an "exciting" period in WWE, because of the draft that is going on. After that, I decided to check out PWInsider, and they say that WWE is going to respond to the pressure of the success of the recent ECW PPV. Has any other sites said anything like that? Anyway, I can't believe how much things have slowed down after that PPV. We even have a PPV coming up this Sunday, a PPV that WWE has really pushed to be something pretty big, and people just don't seem like they care about it all that much. If it's true WWE is going to repsond in some way, it'll be interesting to see just what they have to say about it.

The next Batman film will be interesting to see, since we wont have the story of how he came to be to deal with like we had in this one. I'm very interested to see how they produce the next one, since Batman will be there from the very start.

This was posted on DVDTalk, in regards to that Batman "poster" I posted earlier:

Of course you'll get them for the sale price, I know this first hand, so don't worry about not getting the discount on the OOS items. If you guys don't have em, pick up the following DVDs. They are $4-$5 each after the 20% off: Dark City Following Frailty Ghost Dog Interstate 60
-
I wonder what this means for ObsessedWithWrestling...
-
I placed a pretty large order, but one of them I thought was a really cool deal. I got that Andre the Giant DVD for $4.xx, not bad at all. I might even pick up the IC Title DVD since it's the same price.

My favorite line in the entire film: "SWEAR TO ME!!!!!!!" I don't know where this is from, or who made it (I found it on DVDTalk, someone posted it like this), but I think this is both a really well made fan poster, as well as being fucking cool. This fits the new Batman universe perfectly in my eyes:
